San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 15-of-27 passes for 288 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 4 against the New England Patriots, and he ran five times for 11 yards.
Huddle Up: Purdy has one or no touchdown passes in three of his four games so far. It's been a slow go, but he has also been without key skill position players for most every game. It also doesn't help that Christian McCaffrey remains sidelined indefinitely. Purdy has 288 or more passing yards in the past three games, but with the lack of TDs, he has been closer to QB2 fantasy status than QB1. He'll look to get things going against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 27, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.
Huddle Up: Purdy is coming off a productive Week 3 performance and could have all of his pass catchers available this week. He can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (back) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.
Huddle Up: Purdy is coming off a terrific Week 3 performance and has thrown for at least 290 yards in each of the last two games. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (back) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Huddle Up: Purdy underwent tests on his back after the Week 3 game but does not appear to be dealing with any serious issues. He may get one of his pass catchers back this week and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Updating previous reports, San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (back) had an MRI that revealed no structural damage.
Huddle Up: Purdy is the QB9 through three weeks despite the pieces around him are falling apart. He'll remain a solid QB1 in fantasy.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (back) is considered day-to-day because of back tightness, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if Purdy is in any danger of missing the Week 4 game. He was without several of his top pass catchers in Week 3 but still threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns. He can be a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he plays.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 22 of his 30 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 10 times for 41 yards in a 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.
Huddle Up: Purdy had his best fantasy performance of the season in the loss, and he did so while missing several of his top weapons. Purdy has proven he can delivers some QB1 performances, but he is better served as a high-end QB2.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 28 of his 36 passes for 319 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. He added 12 rushing yards on two carries and lost a fumble.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 19-of-29 passes for 231 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 1 against the New York Jets, and he had an 11-yard scamper on his only rushing attempt.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy led all qualified passers with 6.7 yards after catch per completion during the 2023 season, according to Pro Football Reference.
Huddle Up: While this might seem like just another piece of evidence that Purdy is simply riding the coattails of his teammates and their run-after-catch ability, it is also important to note Patrick Mahomes finished third at 6.4. The big difference is that Purdy's average pass yards per attempt was 9.6, while Mahomes' was 7.0. The 6.7 yards after catch per completion is just as much of a nod to head coach Kyle Shanahan's ability to put players such as Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle into positions where they can gain yards after the catch.
