San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 12, and head coach Kyle Shanahan said he is not sure if Purdy will be available for the Week 13 game.
Huddle Up: Purdy seemed to suffer a setback this week, so fantasy players will need to check on his practice participation next week. Brandon Allen is scheduled to start against the Green Bay Packers but should be avoided in fantasy leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brandon Allen will be the starting quarterback for the 49ers in Week 12 since QB Brock Purdy (shoulder) will be unavailable, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.
Huddle Up: Allen has only played in two games since 2021, so it is not known how much success he will have against the Green Bay Packers. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues, and players should lower their expectations for all of the 49ers pass catchers.

Huddle Up: For all the negative sentiment it feels like there has been for Purdy this year, he's still the QB6 in fantasy. This is despite being without all four of his top skill position players at one point or another. He's a good option if he's able to against the Green Bay Packers, who are down their top corner.

Huddle Up: Purdy is dealing with soreness in his shoulder but probably will be able to play this week as long as he does not suffer a setback. He is coming off his worst game of the season but has posted at least two total touchdowns in each of the last five games. He can be considered a starting option in fantasy leagues if active.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy (shoulder) is dealing with some soreness in his right shoulder and is considered day-to-day.
Huddle Up: Purdy probably will miss some practice time this week, but it does not appear to be dealing with serious injury. He was held to a season-low 159 passing yards in the last game, but his running ability helps his fantasy value. He will be facing a good Green Bay Packers defense in Week 12 but could be a possible low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy completed 25-of-36 passes for 353 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while running four times for 17 yards.
Huddle Up: Purdy had the benefit of Christian McCaffrey returning to the offense. While CMC didn't tear it up on the ground, he had six receptions out of the backfield, making life easier for Purdy. That's a huge development going forward, as long as McCaffrey can stay healthy. Purdy could be back in the low-end QB1 conversation heading into Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, and the Buccaneers are allowing the third-most passing yards per game and have given up the third-most touchdown passes.
Huddle Up: Purdy has thrown one touchdown or less in six of his eight games this season, but Tampa Bay's secondary has been vulnerable. Throw in the expected return of Christian McCaffery, and Purdy could be headed for a QB1 performance in Week 10.
