New Orleans Saints WRs Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Chris Olave (head) "look completely recovered" from their season-ending injuries last season, according to Matthew Paras of The Times-Picayune.
Huddle Up: Shaheed should be completely recovered from the meniscus surgery that took place in mid-October. Olave is a different story since he suffered his fifth documented concussion in early November. There is simply too much upside to ignore either wideout in fantasy, but both are risky on multiple levels. Quarterback play is one concern. Regarding Shaheed specifically, meniscus issues tend to remain a nuisance even after they are fixed via surgery. Regarding Olave specifically, one has to wonder how many more concussions he can suffer before he has to retire.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) underwent knee surgery Thursday, Oct. 17, to repair a meniscus injury and is expected to be sidelined for four to six months, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Shaheed will not be back on the field until next season, so fantasy players can drop him in their leagues. Chris Olave is the only Saints receiver that should be a starting option in fantasy leagues moving forward.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) was placed on injured reserve on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Updating earlier reports, New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) will undergo meniscus surgery on Thursday, Oct. 17, and the results of that operation are expected to determine whether Shaheed can return in a matter of weeks or if he'll miss the remainder of the 2024 season, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Huddle Up: The news just keeps getting worse for Shaheed, who was on pace to set career highs across the board (through six games, he was on a 57-989-8 pace) while showing far more consistency than he had in previous campaigns. For now, the only thing to do is hold onto the big-play threat until we learn how much time he'll be on the shelf.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16, and has been ruled out for Week 7.
Huddle Up: Shaheed will undergo surgery and likely will miss multiple weeks because of the injury. Bub Means and Cedrick Wilson will be the main receivers for the Saints and could be a possible flex options in deeper leagues.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his meniscus injury and is a candidate for the Reserve/Injured list, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
Huddle Up: It looks like Shaheed will miss several weeks because of the injury, so fantasy players will need other options for their lineups. Bub Means and Cedrick Wilson likely will be the main receivers for the Saints in Week 7. Means can be a flex option in deeper leagues, while Wilson could be a possible flex option in some leagues.

Huddle Up: Shaheed is expected to miss time with a knee injury so it's unlikely he plays Thursday night. Managers can pivot to Bub Means as an emergency flex option.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) is scheduled to undergo tests to determine the severity of his knee injury, according to a source. There is a chance he may miss some time because of the injury.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players should know more about Shaheed's situation in the next few days. He has been productive this season but is a risky option in fantasy leagues this week.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) did not participate in practice Monday, Oct. 14. The Saints did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation since Shaheed only has a few days to prepare for Week 7. He was targeted seven times in the last game but only had one catch for 11 yards. He has fantasy value because of his big-play ability but is a risky option for players.

New Orleans Saints WR Rashid Shaheed was limited to a single 11-yard reception despite seven targets in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: Shaheed struggled to get on the same page with rookie Spencer Rattler, making his first start under center. Rattler tried to get Shaheed the ball, but it is obvious the two haven't worked together very much on practice reps. Shaheed's short-term fantasy appeal is going to take a hit until Derek Carr is able to return from an oblique injury.
