Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs caught five passes for 84 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 11. He was targeted five times during the game.
Huddle Up: Downs has become a focal point in the passing game this season and has posted at least 70 yards in three of the last four games. He should receive a good amount of targets next week and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs ended up with seven receptions for 72 yards on 10 targets in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills.
Huddle Up: Downs has had a nice connection with veteran QB Joe Flacco. He remains a solid WR2 in all PPR fantasy formats, with slightly lesser appear in standard formats. The Colts travel to meet the New York Jets in Week 11.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs finished with six receptions for 60 yards on nine targets in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: Downs has 10 receptions for 169 yards and a score on 18 targets in the past two games. He has really jelled nicely with Joe Flacco, and he is a solid WR3 or flex fantasy option as long as the veteran Flacco is under center. The Colts meet the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (toe) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Huddle Up: Downs is coming off his first 100-yard game of the season last and should not be affected much by the quarterback change since he showed a good connection with Joe Flacco earlier in the season. He should be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (toe) returned to a full practice on Thursday, Oct. 31.
Huddle Up: Downs' practice schedule followed a similar script last week, sitting on Wednesday before practicing in full on Thursday. However, the best news his fantasy managers received this week was head coach Shane Steichen's decision to name Joe Flacco as the quarterback - presumably for the rest of the season. In the three games that Flacco has seen significant playing time this season, Downs is averaging eight catches for 72 yards and has scored twice. He is a strong WR2 at worst with Flacco under center.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (toe) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Huddle Up: Downs was able to play last week despite the injury and should be available for the Week 9 game. He showed a good connection with Joe Flacco earlier in the season and should be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs registered four receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in the Week 8 game against the Houston Texans.
Huddle Up: Downs had his first 100-yard game of the season, and just the second of his career. He had 125 yards on five receptions on Oct. 22, 2023 against the Cleveland Browns. The stat line is miraculous considering how poor QB Anthony Richardson was in Week 8. Downs has WR2 ability in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, but he needs an NFL caliber quarterback under center.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (groin, toe) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.
Huddle Up: Downs seemed to have a better connection with Joe Flacco than he does with Anthony Richardson, but he should still see a handful of targets this week. He can be a possible flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (toe, groin) was a full participant in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Oct. 25.
Huddle Up: Downs has not put together two straight full practices since Week 5, so fantasy managers should expect him to be removed from the injury report later today and play his usual allotment of snaps in Week 8 against the Houston Texans. Working against him is how much different the offense performs with Anthony Richardson under center. Not only do the Colts run more often with Richardson, but last year's fourth overall pick is much less accurate as a passer. As a result, Downs is more of a WR4 consideration with Richardson as opposed to a strong WR2 option with Joe Flacco.

Indianapolis Colts DE Genard Avery (foot) and LB Jaylon Carlies (leg, shoulder) did not practice on Thursday, Oct. 24. WR Josh Downs (groin, toe), C Ryan Kelly (calf), CB Chris Lammons (ankle), WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back), OT Braden Smith (knee), DT DeForest Buckner (ankle), RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle), WR Ashton Dulin (knee), LB Cameron McGrone (elbow) and LB E.J. Speed (knee) practiced in full.
