Updating previous reports, Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice could face a suspension of up to four games for violating the personal conduct policy. The policy has a provision that applies to violations of the law regarding "substances of abuse," which includes marijuana. It allows the commissioner to suspend the player for up to four games.
Huddle Up: Rice's incarceration from violating his probation could cause him to miss at least a couple of games in the upcoming season. As such, he's probably best viewed as a WR3 in fantasy, which could wind up being a value pick.

Updating a previous report, one week before being ordered to serve 30 days in jail for violating his probation, Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice underwent a clean-up surgery on his right knee to remove loose debris that was causing inflammation. The surgery is expected to sideline him 4-6 weeks, according to reports on Tuesday, May 19. It was reported earlier that day that Rice violated his parole by testing positive for marijuana and will serve 30 days in jail and miss the team's OTAs and mandatory mini-camp.
Huddle Up: Rice was cleared of any discipline from the NFL previously, and now this leaves a cloud over any future potential suspensions coming his way. Fantasy players will have to wait and see what he will be dealing with in terms of missing any time at all.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is not expected to be suspended after the investigation by the NFL regarding accusations from his former girlfriend was closed.
Huddle Up: Rice has dealt with several off-field issues over the last few years, but he is on track for the start of the 2026 regular season. He will be one of the main targets in the Chiefs passing game and should be a weekly starting option in leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (concussion) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Huddle Up: The Chiefs have been eliminated from the playoffs, so Rice will have plenty of time to recover from his concussion. Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster will be the main receivers for the final two games of the season but should only be possible flex options in some leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (concussion) did not practice Tuesday, Dec. 23 for the second consecutive day, as he remains in concussion protocol.
Huddle Up: Rice still needs to pass his tests before he is green-lighted for Thursday's game against the Denver Broncos in Week 17. If he were able to play, he is facing a tough matchup, while working with a third-string QB Chris Oladokun. It's probably best to avoid Rice, even if he can play.
