New York Jets RB Braelon Allen (knee) said Saturday, June 13, that he is back to 100 percent after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Head coach Aaron Glenn said he wants to employ a "three-headed monster" in the backfield, and that was the plan last season before Allen's injury. RBs Breece Hall, the starter, and Isaiah Davis are the other backs in the equation. Allen also added that he hopes kick returns, which is how he hurt his knee, are going to be a thing of the past.
Huddle Up: Allen is likely going to have a role in the offense, but after shelling out big bucks to Hall, expect the Jets to get their money's worth on the starter. Still, there is likely a role for Allen to see something like 10-12 total touches per game, and he might be in the RB4/5 neighborhood for fantasy managers on draft day, especially as a handcuff for those who also select Hall.

New York Jets RB Breece Hall is expected to have plenty of company in the backfield, as head coach Aaron Glenn said Saturday, June 13, that he is planning to use Hall, RBs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis as a "three-headed monster" in the backfield. He said that was the plan last season until Allen suffered an injury. However, after signing Hall to a three-year, $43.5 million, it's still likely Hall will see his fair share of touches.
Huddle Up: Hall should still be an RB1 in most fantasy leagues, but don't be shocked to see his total touches down a bit, with Allen getting a few more looks, if he can stay healthy. Davis is likely to factor in, too, but he won't likely be a fantasy option unless Hall or Allen go down to injury. Be careful drafting Hall this season, and make sure to have plenty of depth on hand, in case he loses a larger chunk of touches than anticipated.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen said he currently weighs 250 pounds, which is up from the 238 to 240 pounds he was at last season.
Huddle Up: Allen has recovered from his knee surgery and should be the No. 2 running back for the Jets in 2026. He will likely see a limited workload behind Breece Hall and can be a No. 4 or No. 5 running back in fantasy leagues.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen has been participating in offseason workouts after missing most of the 2025 season because of a knee injury.
Huddle Up: Allen will likely return as the No. 2 running back for the Jets after missing a majority of the 2025 season. He should see a limited workload behind Breece Hall and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues unless Hall suffers an injury.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Oct. 2. Surgery is possible for his undisclosed knee injury, but it's not known if it's of the season-ending variety.
Huddle Up: Isaiah Davis should be handcuffed to Breece Hall, but he doesn't offer a ton of runway in fantasy otherwise.
