New York Jets RB Braelon Allen ran twice for just four yards in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while adding a 2-yard catch on his only target.
Huddle Up: Allen looked to be pushing Breece Hall a little bit earlier in the season, but the pecking order for backfield touches is clear right now. Allen's role is rather minimal, and it should remain so as long as Hall is healthy.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen had just three rushes for eight yards in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills, and he had no catches on two targets.
Huddle Up: Head coach Robert Saleh used Allen in a bit of a timeshare with Breece Hall, but with interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich and new play caller Todd Downing, it was the Hall show, with Allen taking a big backseat. Allen should be reserved until he can get back to at least double-digit touches in a game.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen rushed for 13 yards on five carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. He also caught one pass for 15 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Allen had been playing very well in the games leading up to the Week 5 game but was not able to be much of a factor against the Vikings. He will continue to see some touches in the offense next week against the Buffalo Bills and could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen rushed eight times for a team-high 34 yards in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos, while adding a 12-yard reception on his only catch and target.
Huddle Up: Allen had 4.3 yards per carry, taking advantage of the fact Breece Hall had a dismal four rushing yards on 10 carries. He has forced his way into a bigger role in the offense, and it wouldn't be shocking to see a timeshare in the backfield if the rookie continues to produce. He is worth a look as a RB3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings in London.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen had 11 carries for 55 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He also caught all three of his targeted balls for 13 yards.
Huddle Up: After scoring twice in Week 2, Allen was a central part of New York's offense. He ran strong and looks like an ideal complement to Breece Hall given his size. He's averaging 5.1 yards per carry and 7.5 yards per catch in the early going, and if he continues to receive double-digit usage the rookie should be a flex or even RB3 option. In the unlikely event he's still floating around on waivers, scoop him up.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown on seven carries against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. He also caught two passes for 23 yards and one touchdown during the game.
Huddle Up: Allen was not a big factor in Week 1 but was productive in both the running and passing game this week. He has the chance to earn a consistent role in the offense and could become a flex option in fantasy leagues if he continues to receive a similar workload in the upcoming games.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen rushed once for eight yards in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers, while adding a 9-yard reception on his lone target in his NFL debut.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen tallied six carries for 54 yards in his preseason debut on Saturday, Aug. 10.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen was named the team's surprise standout at minicamp, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini on Monday, June 24. Cimini said Allen "showed excellent ball skills and terrific body control" and that the rookie "has a chance to be Breece Hall's primary backup."
Huddle Up: The rookie will be competing for the backup role, which is only valuable if Hall misses time. Still, his unique size and his young age make him a valuable handcuff in fantasy if he wins the job.

New York Jets RB Braelon Allen's hands are getting him noticed early in camp, as he has been a reliable option out of the backfield all summer, according to SNY's Connor Hughes.
Huddle Up: What it actually will mean during the regular season will depend on the health of Breece Hall, but Allen is running ahead of 2023 backup Israel Abanikanda this summer and appears to have a significant lead over the second-year back to be the primary handcuff for Hall. There is a real chance Allen wins the backup job and Abanikanda is cut or traded later this summer. As such, Allen is worth a late-round pick in early redrafts and a third-round selection in rookie drafts.
