Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) remains out of practice Friday, Aug. 7.
Huddle Up: It's the same shoulder he dislocated in Week 1 last season when he collided with Travis Kelce. It's just a strain, but it's also a sign that the shoulder could continue to be an issue. Worthy is, at worst, the third option in the passing game and could be taken as a WR3 in fantasy. He carries a ton of risk there, but he has obvious reward value with his tools. Buyer beware.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is dealing with a sprained shoulder but is expected to return to practice later this week, according to head coach Andy Reid.
Huddle Up: The Chiefs can be cautious with Worthy, but he seems to be dealing with a minor injury and should be available soon. He should be one of the main receivers for the Chiefs this season and can be a No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy reportedly left Saturday's practice with a shoulder issue, but onlookers reported that Worthy didn't seem distressed as he left, according to a source on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Huddle Up: Worthy can ill afford to miss camp time, especially when a shoulder issue contributed to a down season for Worthy in 2025. It's Worthy's third season with the Chiefs and while they've gotten some explosiveness, they have to feel a bit underwhelmed by what Worthy has produced over the last two seasons with 101 catches and 1,170 receiving yards in two seasons. He'll be a factor in what the Chiefs do on offense this season, so Worthy is a mid-to-late-round pick in fantasy football. That means he's more of a bench option as a WR4 to see if Worthy can start to realize his potential as a first-round draft selection for Kansas City.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy has performed well during offseason workouts and seems to be more comfortable entering his third season, according to head coach Andy Reid. Wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea said he has been impressed with how Worthy has been catching the ball during workouts.
Huddle Up: Worthy saw his numbers drop a bit this past season, but he should still be one of the main receivers in the passing game for the Chiefs in 2026. He can be considered a No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy was seen wearing a non-contact jersey at the team's OTAs on Thursday, May 28. No injury was disclosed for the reason of wearing the jersey.
Huddle Up: Worthy's fantasy value will take a hit if Patrick Mahomes does not start the season with the team. They are likely to be heavily invested in the run game in 2026, so Worthy can be rostered in deeper leagues as a flex play, for now.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (illness) has been declared inactive for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster should be the main receivers this week with Worthy not playing. The Chiefs are down to their third quarterback this season, so neither receiver is more than a possible flex option.

TE Jake Briningstool (hamstring) fully participated in practice but has been ruled out. WR Xavier Worthy (illness) did not practice and is listed as doubtful. DT Jerry Tillery (non-injury) did not practice and is listed as questionable. DE George Karlaftis (non-injury), RB Isiah Pacheco (non-injury) and OT Jaylon Moore (knee) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (illness) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 2, and is listed as doubtful for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can monitor the situation but should not count on Worthy playing this week. Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster will likely be the main receivers for the Chiefs in Week 18 but are only possible flex options in some deeper leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (illness) did not practice Thursday, Jan. 1.
Huddle Up: Worthy has missed back-to-back practices with an illness, and it remains to be seen if he will even suit up in the finale. It has been a disappointing season for Worthy, and with Patrick Mahomes sidelined to start next season, there is no guarantee that Worthy will bounce back.
