Huddle Up: Legette is coming off a disappointing Week 5 performance and has not received consistent targets during the season. Fantasy players probably should avoid Legette until he receives a bigger role in the passing game.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (shoulder) expected to be fine to play in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons after banging up his shoulder in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears. Legette went for an MRI on the shoulder Monday, Oct. 7.
Huddle Up: Legette's production has been a bit erratic, but he had picked up the pace with Andy Dalton under center. However, he is still only worth a look as a WR5 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams when healthy.

Huddle Up: With Legette checking out early, Jalen Coker stepped up as the second wide receiver option behind Diontae Johnson. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues will want to wait to see Legette return and make it through a full game before trusting him again.

Huddle Up: Legette benefited from the fact Adam Thielen is on IR, as the rookie was operating as WR2 for Andy Dalton in the Panthers offense. Suddenly, Carolina has an NFL-caliber offense again, and Legette is looking like he could be a useful WR4 or flex fantasy option in most leagues. He'll look to build upon his momentum in Week 5 at Chicago.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette posted a team-high four receptions for 35 yards in Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, and his seven targets were also a team best.
Huddle Up: The Panthers traded back into the first round to snag Legette, and he has a bright future. However, fantasy managers in redraft leagues won't want to pay him any mind, at least not yet. He is a must-have in all dynasty formats.

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (foot) had an MRI that ruled out a fracture in his foot and he's considered day-to-day, per source on Sunday, Aug. 4.

Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette (foot) left practice early Sunday, Aug. 4, due to a foot injury. X-Rays came negative, and Legette will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.
Huddle Up: Legette had a chance to carve out a role in the Panthers WR room early, but this could be a red flag going into the season. Rookies dealing with injuries during camp usually get off to slower starts so Legette should be viewed as a WR4/5 type.
