New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough will start in place of QB Spencer Rattler in Week 9, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Huddle Up: Shough is a rookie and still very raw. This offense also leaves a lot to be desired, so he's merely a pickup in two-QB leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler and QB Tyler Shough both saw playing time during the Week 8 game, and head coach Kellen Moore said the team is not ready to name the starting quarterback for Week 9.
Huddle Up: Rattler was benched in favor of Shough in the last game, so Shough seems to be the leading candidate for the job this week. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation over the next few days, but neither quarterback should be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler completed 15-of-21 passes for 136 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while running three times for 12 yards. He was also credited with a lost fumble. Rattler was benched for rookie QB Tyler Shough.
Huddle Up: Rattler made two costly mistakes, and despite a pretty efficient completion percentage, he is now donning a ball cap on the sideline. It's uncertain if this is a move just to spark the offense on Sunday, or something which is more long term. Whomever starts for New Orleans is, at best, a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler will continue to be the starting quarterback for the Saints, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Huddle Up: Rattler is coming off a three-interception performance in Week 7 but threw only one interception in his other six games. He has not thrown for more than 233 yards in any game and has at least two touchdown passes in two of his seven games. It is not known if he will keep the job for the rest of the season and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler completed 20-of-32 for 233 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears. He ran twice for 12 yards.
Huddle Up: Rattler threw for a season-high yards but he entered the game with just one interception all season, as the Saints (1-6) continued its worst start since opening 1-7 in 1999. Rattler remains a fill-in option when injuries hit the quarterback room.

New Orleans Saints QB Spencer Rattler completed 20-of-26 for a season-high 227 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in a 25-19 Week 6 loss to the New England Patriots.
Huddle Up: Rattler didn't throw a touchdown for the first time this season and has still thrown only one interception in 203 attempts. However, he's not getting the ball down the field, averaging just 5.6 yards per attempt entering Sunday - among the lowest in the NFL. Rattler is completing nearly 70 percent of his passes but isn't anything more than a fill-in in two QB leagues until he can push the ball down the field more consistently.

Huddle Up: Rattler has not posted great numbers so far this season but has thrown for six touchdowns and only one interception over the last four games. He will be facing a good New England Patriots defense next week and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.
