RB Christian McCaffrey (calf) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 5, and is listed as questionable. DL Yetur Gross-Matos (knee) did not practice and was not given a practice designation. Huddle Up: Guerendo's fantasy value will depend on if Christian McCaffrey will be available for the game. San Francisco 49ers RB Isaac Guerendo might only be used as a No. 3 option in the San Francisco backfield following the acquisition of RB Brian Robinson Jr. "Brought (Robinson) here to be our 2-back," head coach Kyle Shanahan said Sunday, Aug. 24. "Always been a big fan of Brian."
Huddle Up: Guerendo appeared to be in line to be the primary backup, but an injury caused a need for the team, and they scooped up a guy who has been a starter in this league. If Robinson or Christian McCaffrey suffer an injury, all is not lost, but for now, Guerendo's fantasy appeal is at an all-time low.
