Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) is reportedly being checked on by five NFL teams, but the Washington Commanders are 'intriguing' to Diggs, as a native of the area, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com on Sunday, July 26.
Huddle Up: Diggs ran a career-low 69% of routes and just 54% of snaps last season with the Patriots, but still came away with his seventh 1,000-yard and 100-target season in 2025. Entering his age-33 season, Diggs still has a lot left in the tank and can be fantasy relevant for any team he suits up for in 2026. He's worth a late-round pick as a low-end WR3 for fantasy, but when Diggs does sign, his price will shoot up immediately into a likely middle-round pick.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) has received interest from at least five teams leading up to the start of training camps.
Huddle Up: Diggs will likely join a team before the start of the regular season and could sign in the next few weeks. He should be a top-three receiver for his new team and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues depending on his situation.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) said he is open to signing with the Washington Commanders this offseason.
Huddle Up: The Commanders do not have a clear No. 2 receiver behind Terry McLaurin, so Diggs would have a big role in the passing game if he joined Washington. He can be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver if the two sides reached a deal.

Free agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) was cleared of any personal conduct policy violation by the league on Friday, June 12, and has closed their investigation into a matter between him and his former chef.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) is unlikely to re-sign with the New England Patriots this offseason, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
Huddle Up: The Patriots have added A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs this offseason, so Diggs will probably have to find a new team to play for in 2026. He should have a solid role no matter where he plays in 2026 and can be at least a No. 3 fantasy receiver depending on his situation.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) "would love" to re-sign with the New England Patriots this offseason but a deal with the team could be contingent on whether the Patriots are able to complete a trade for Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown, according to Albert Breer of SI.com.
Huddle Up: The 32-year-old Diggs had 85 catches for 1,013 receiving yards and four touchdowns with the AFC champions last season and should be viewed as a WR3 or WR4 option in most fantasy leagues regardless of where he lands.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) was found not guilty on Tuesday, May 5, of felony strangulation and other criminal charges stemming from a dispute with his personal chef.
Huddle Up: Diggs had a comeback season with an 85-1,013-4 line that ranked him the WR16 in PPR fantasy leagues. He'll turn 33 in November, but has yet to sign with a team for 2026. That could change soon, so keep tabs on his status. Diggs is at least draftable based on his name value and steady fantasy production.

Free-agent WR Stefon Diggs (Patriots) is a player the New England Patriots are open to re-signing this offseason, according to executive vice president Eliot Wolf.
Huddle Up: It seems unlikely that Diggs will return after the Romeo Doubs signing, but fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation. Diggs should have a solid role wherever he plays in 2026 and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots WR Stefon Diggs has been informed he will be released by the team after the start of the new league year.
