Updating a previous report, Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (shoulder) re-entered the AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 18, after having exited briefly due to a shoulder ailment.
Huddle Up: It's been tough sledding for Marks and the rushing offense of Houston in the wintry conditions, especially against a hungry New England defense which has been flying around. After going for triple digits in Pittsburgh in the wild-card game win, it's been tough sledding so far.

Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (shoulder) left the AFC Divisional Round playoff game in the first half due to a shoulder injury, and he is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Marks had eight carries for just seven yards before checking out, while adding a 6-yard reception on two targets. If he cannot return, or if he is limited, Nick Chubb's workload would increase, with perhaps Dare Ogunbowale also factoring in, with Jawhar Jordan inactive due to an ailment.

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (concussion) has passed concussion protocol, and he has returned to the AFC Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Huddle Up: Marks hit his head on the turf after a run in the red zone. He was able to return, and he incurred a huge hit from LB Payton Wilson on a pass incompletion. If he can withstand that monstrous hit, it appears he is fine.

Houston Texans RB Woody Marks (concussion) left the AFC Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first half to be evaluated for concussion. Officially, he is listed as questionable to return.
Huddle Up: If Marks cannot return, veteran Nick Chubb would likely see a majority of the work in the backfield, especially with Jawhar Jordan inactive for the playoff game. Dare Ogunbowale could also be called upon, especially in red-zone situations, if Marks cannot return.

Houston Texans RB Woody Marks ran 10 times for 48 yards in a Week 18 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He caught two passes for zero yards.
Huddle Up: Marks split carries with British Brooks while Nick Chubb sat this one out. Marks has taken over the featured role from Chubb in the last two months and topped 60 yards in four of his previous five games. The rookie is worth keeping an eye on in 2026 as a potential low-end draft pick with some upside potential.

Huddle Up: Marks received most of the carries against the Chargers and has rushed for at least 60 yards in four of his last five games. He should see around the same workload next week and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
