Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan was compared to Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins by an NFL executive. "I think he is like Tee Higgins," the executive said. "That is higher than Tee went, but you would still be getting a top-15 receiver in the league."
Huddle Up: With his size and and ability to make contested catches, McMillan could easily become Bryce Young's go-to target in the red zone. The rookie is worth grabbing as a WR3.

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan was the team's first-round pick at No. 8 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. QB Bryce Young reportedly felt strong enough about him that he walked into the offices of head coach Dave Canales and general Dan Morgan before the draft and told them: "We need to pick this guy."
Huddle Up: McMillan was knocked for a few things during the pre-draft process - most notably the video clip of him not liking to watch film from a few years ago and his ability to separate - but he was one of the few true "X" receivers available in this draft. Compared to Drake London and Mike Evans by many, McMillan is huge (6-foot-4 and 219 pounds) and has amazing ball skills, which likely were the two qualities that appealed to Young the most. Perhaps the best part of this, however, is that Young personally identified the rookie as someone he wanted. McMillan will likely be considered a fantasy WR3 in early drafts, but there is little doubt he possesses WR2 upside.

Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the eighth overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: McMillan should be a top-three receiver for the Panthers in his rookie season and likely will see a decent amount of targets each game. He can be a possible No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.
