Free-agent TE Hunter Henry (Chargers) agreed to a three-year, $37.5 million deal with the New England Patriots Tuesday, March 16. The deal includes $25 million guaranteed.
Huddle Up: Henry will join Jonnu Smith as a dual threat over the middle, and there should be enough balls to go around to keep them in the midrange or low-end TE1 range.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry won't receive the franchise tag and will hit the open market.
Huddle Up: Henry had a modest, 60-613-4 line last year, which is right along the lines of what he has done in his career. He's just 26 and could have more in the tank, but he's a mid-to-low TE1 in fantasy.

Los Angeles Chargers impending free-agent TE Hunter Henry could be pursued by the Carolina Panthers to upgrade a passing attack that generated a total of 204 receiving yards from the tight end position in 2020, according to Seth Galina of Pro Football Focus.
Huddle Up: Henry has battled injuries throughout his career, but he has delivered TE1 production when he has been on the field. Any team that signs him would presumably use him in a featured role, but landing with a team like Carolina that offers zero competition at the tight end position would raise his floor.

Impending free-agent TE Hunter Henry (Chargers) is a player the Jacksonville Jaguars should 'be aggressive in pursuing' this offseason, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.

Los Angeles Chargers impending free-agent TE Hunter Henry is likely to receive the franchise tag, according to Shelley Smith of ESPN.com.
Huddle Up: Henry had a career-high 60 catches in 2020 as he topped 600 yards for the second consecutive season. If Henry does return, his second season with Justin Herbert should result in TE1 production.

Los Angeles Chargers impending free-agent TE Hunter Henry said he is open to returning to the Chargers but is not ruling out any scenario. Henry said he wants to play with a good quarterback as well as a lucrative contract.
Huddle Up: There is a chance that Henry receives the franchise tag this offseason, but he would receive significant interest from teams if he hits the free-agent market. He is one of the better tight ends in the NFL and will be a No. 1 fantasy tight end next season.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, Dec. 24.
Huddle Up: Henry began the practice week with a DNP due to illness, so it stands to reason he tested positive. Either way, he won't be available to fantasy owners in their league championship game. Donald Parham is the next man up for the Chargers, but he would be a desperation play at best. Other options that could be available and have some decent Week 16 upside include Austin Hooper, Irv Smith Jr., Cole Kmet and Dan Arnold.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry (illness) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 23.
Huddle Up: Henry still has a good chance to play Sunday of Week 16, and he stands to see a significant increase in his workload with WR Keenan Allen bothered by a hamstring injury. Henry will need to be in fantasy lineups.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry caught five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, Dec. 17.
Huddle Up: Hunter was the only one of LA's top four offensive players not to carry an injury designation, and he led the team with seven targets. Henry hasn't had the big year many were expecting, but his weekly upside keeps him as a viable TE1.

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry (hip) practiced in full Wednesday, Dec. 16, and doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 15 game against the Las Vegas Raiders Thursday, Dec. 17.
Huddle Up: Henry has struggled with consistency while working with rookie QB Justin Herbert. He'll be a low-end TE1 option in a more appealing matchup against the injury-ravaged Raiders' secondary Thursday.
