Kansas City Chiefs DT Chris Jones took to social media Monday, Feb. 16, making it known he is hopeful the team pursues free-agent WR Tyreek Hill (knee). On his official X account, he posted a note publicly to Hill saying, "It's (emoji clock for time)."
Huddle Up: Hill is making his way back from a serious knee injury, so it's uncertain how many teams would be interested in his services until he continues to get a little deeper into his rehab. But, the Chiefs certainly could use a little punch in the receiving game, so being reunited with Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City could make sense. He had four 1,000-yard seasons in six NFL campaigns from 2016-21, and he has scored at least six touchdowns in nine of his 10 seasons, sans for 2025, when he was limited to just one score in four games in an injury-shortened campaign. For fantasy purposes, the jury is still out on Hill, as he doesn't have a home, and we haven't heard a ton about how his rehab is going, and if there is a definitive timetable for his return.

Free-agent WR Tyreek Hill (knee) said he plans to play again after he recovers from his serious knee injury.
Huddle Up: It is not known if Hill will be able to play during the 2026 season, so fantasy players will need to monitor his recovery over the next several months. He is one of the better receivers in the NFL when healthy but will be a risky option when he returns to the field.

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (knee) was released Monday, Feb. 16, with a failed physical designation.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was released Monday, Feb. 16.
Huddle Up: The Cheetah is a real wild card in fantasy drafts. He's 32 and recovering from a serious knee injury. He has also expressed a lack of desire to play football. If he latches on somewhere else, he could be worth the WR3 price tag on draft day.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill's (knee) availability for the 2026 season is uncertain at this point, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Huddle Up: Hill suffered a serious injury during the 2025 season, so fantasy players will need to monitor Hill's recovery over the next several months. He has been a starting fantasy option during his career when healthy but will be a risky option in fantasy leagues next season because of his uncertain status.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (knee) is likely to be released and designated a post-June 1 cut, according to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques, who writes it remains "unclear" when he'll be able to return after dislocating his knee. Louis-Jacques adds that this would be the "most fiscally reasonable solution."
Huddle Up: Hill has been hugely productive in his NFL career, but he posted a modest 81-959-6 line in 2023 (his worst since an injury-shortened 2019 campaign), and will turn 32 in March. Hill, an undersized wideout whose game is built around his speed, will need to prove he hasn't lost a step coming off a devastating knee injury.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is accused of shoving his wife on the floor, ripping her hair out and trying to punch her stomach while pregnant, according to court documents released Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Huddle Up: On the field, Hill's season is over due to a dislocated left knee and multiple ligament tears, including his ACL, during a game against the New York Jets on Sept. 29.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (knee) is expected to be released at some point after the 2025 season, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Hill will miss the rest of the 2025 season and his availability for the start of the 2026 season is uncertain at this point. He will receive interest from multiple teams if he is let go by the Dolphins and has been cleared to play. He will be a risky fantasy option until he is able to play in a few games.
