New York Jets WR Mike Williams (knee) was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Thursday, July 18.
Huddle Up: It is not known when Williams will be able to practice, but he is optimistic that he will be ready for the start of the regular season. He should be a top three receiver for the Jets and could be a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver in fantasy leagues.

New York Jets WR Mike Williams (knee) said he believes he can complement WR Garrett Wilson. "I can be that big, physical receiver who can make plays downfield, catch slants or do whatever it takes," Williams said.
Huddle Up: Williams is recovering from ACL surgery, and while the injury concerns are real, he also has intriguing upside as a big-play weapon for Aaron Rodgers. Williams could end up being a steal as a WR3.

New York Jets WR Mike Williams (knee) has not been cleared for organized team activities.
Huddle Up: He's not expected to be ready for training camp either, so no surprise here. If he's ready to rock for the start of the season he'd be an upside WR3 in PPR leagues.

New York Jets WR Mike Williams (knee) will not be ready for the start of training camp, but general manager Joe Douglas said the team hopes Williams will be ready for start of the regular season.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor his progress during training camp to see when he will be able to play. There is a chance he will miss a game or two because of the injury, but he will still have fantasy value in fantasy leagues. He can be a No. 3 or No. 4 fantasy receiver when healthy.

New York Jets WR Mike Williams (knee) said he's four months removed from surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and said he'll be ready for Week 1.
Huddle Up: Williams has always been a productive, yet frustrating fantasy asset because he goes off and gets hurt. He'll be a WR3 option that is in position to succeed opposite of Garrett Wilson.

Free-agent WR Mike Williams (Chargers) reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth up to $15 million with the New York Jets on Tuesday, March 19.
Huddle Up: Williams was reportedly expected to visit the Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers this week, but it comes as little surprise that New York refused to let him leave Florham Park without agreeing to terms. Although Williams is recovering from a torn ACL, the injury happened early enough last season that he should be ready for training camp. The biggest question with him - as it has been since his college days - is his ability to stay somewhat healthy. If he can do that, he should thrive opposite Garrett Wilson while catching passes from Aaron Rodgers. Consider him a high-risk fantasy WR3 option in early drafts.
