New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) was limited at practice once again on Friday, Sept. 20, and is questionable for Week 3.
Huddle Up: The lack of a full practice this week suggests Hill doesn't have a good shot to play. Per usual, he's a boom-or-bust tight end option if he does suit up.

New Orleans Saints DT Khalen Saunders (calf) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 20, and was ruled out for Week 3. Also, OT Landon Young (foot) did not practice but is questionable, LB D'Marco Jackson (calf), TE Taysom Hill (chest) and S Will Harris (shin) were limited and are questionable, WR A.T. Perry (illness) practiced in full but is questionable, WR Cedrick Wilson (abdomen) was limited but carries no designation, and LB Jaylan Ford (hamstring), WR Rashid Shaheed (hip), CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring), OT Taliese Fuaga (back), and S Tyrann Mathieu (heel) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Huddle Up: Hill seems to have a chance to play in Week 3, but fantasy players will know more in the next few days. He will be involved in the running and passing game if he is cleared to play but probably can be avoided in a majority of leagues.

Huddle Up: It seems like Hill could miss some time because of the injury, so fantasy players should look for an update on him in the next day or two. He has some fantasy value because his ability to run and throw but is not a weekly starting option.

New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill's unique skill set has been on full display during organized team activities, according to Matthew Paras of NOLA.com. For example, Hill took part in individual drills with the running backs last week and is working with the tight ends this week.
"It's been a lot of fun. It's weird to say after seven years of doing what I've been doing that I'm being asked to do things I've never done before. That is exciting to me and it's challenging, and I love to be challenged like that. I'm grateful for those guys creating unique and fun opportunities for me," Hill said.
Huddle Up: According to Paras, Hill has yet to throw a ball once in a live setting this spring, but he has lined up at running back and fullback several times. Furthermore, head coach Dennis Allen apparently "entertained" a reporter's suggestion that Hill might be the Saints' version of Kyle Juszczyk in new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak's offense. While it is unlikely Hill will top last year's career year (114 touches for 692 yards), fantasy managers should expect him to remain a key complementary part of the offense again in 2024.
