Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold is unlikely to be a candidate for a contract extension this offseason since he has two years left on his current contract.
Huddle Up: Darnold is coming off a Super Bowl championship and will likely be the long-term quarterback for the Seahawks if he continues to produce. He will probably be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues next season.

Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold joined Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to win 14 or more games in back-to-back seasons, and Darnold is the only quarterback to win 14-plus games in his first season after changing teams, accomplishing the feat for the second year in a row in 2025.
Huddle Up: While Darnold did lead the league in turnovers this season, he also topped 4,000 yards for the second year in a row and threw 25 touchdowns. He should be a reliable QB2 in 2026 with streaming potential against the right matchups.
