Miami Dolphins DL Zach Sieler (undisclosed) is dealing with an unspecified injury, and he did not play in the preseason game against the Detroit Lions on Saturday, Aug. 16. Head coach Mike McDaniel said Sunday, Aug. 17, that Sieler would be assessed back in South Florida. However, he seemed optimistic Sieler would be ready for Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Miami Dolphins and DT Zach Sieler reached an agreement Sunday, Aug. 3 on a three-year extension worth up to $67.75 million, including $44 million guaranteed.
