Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (calf) was designated for return from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Oct. 25.
Huddle Up: The Cowboys have three weeks to decide whether to activate Gallup or keep him on IR, but it is safe to say they are leaning toward the former based on the lack of pessimism regarding his recovery. His return should not have a dramatic impact on CeeDee Lamb or Amari Cooper, but now might be a good time to sell high on Dalton Schultz. Dak Prescott has thrown 27 or fewer passes in four of six games, making it difficult for more than two pass-catchers to deliver consistently in fantasy.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (calf) may be cleared to start practicing next week, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Gallup is currently on the Reserve/Injured list.
Huddle Up: Gallup has been sidelined since the middle of September but appears to be close to returning. He probably will need at least a week of practice before he is activated but can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option when he plays.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (calf) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Sept. 13.
Huddle Up: Gallup will be sidelined for at least the next three games, potentially leaving more targets for Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. However, Dallas could also redistribute Gallup's targets to tight ends Blake Jarwin and Dalton Schultz too. Last but not least, Cedrick Wilson will be asked to step up in Gallup's absence and probably deserves a bench spot in deeper leagues.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (calf) is expected to be sidelined for three to five weeks after an MRI revealed a strained calf, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Cedrick Wilson and Noah Brown likely will see more playing time while Gallup is sidelined but should not be fantasy options. Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb may see a few more targets in the next few games and are must-start options in all leagues.

Updating an earlier report, Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (ankle) was removed from the field in the third quarter on Thursday, Sept. 9, and did not return. Prior to departing, Gallup hauled in four passes for 36 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is scheduled to be re-evaluated on Friday, Sept. 10.
Huddle Up: Based on usage Gallup ended up about where many expected, well behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. There's little doubt there are going to be weeks where Gallup provides a mismatch and posts solid numbers, but he's likely to be a much more volatile option than his running mates. Assuming the ankle injury is nothing serious, Gallup looks like a flex play for the time being.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (ankle) is questionable to return against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after suffering a left ankle injury Thursday, Sept. 9.
Huddle Up: If Gallup is forced to miss time, the Cowboys will lean heavily on Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb in the passing game.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup was excused from practice Friday, Sept. 3, because of the birth of his child.
Huddle Up: Gallup should return to practice next week and be ready for the Week 1 game. He is likely behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb on the depth chart but should still see a handful of targets reach game. He can be considered a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup is reportedly enjoying his increased reps in the slot during training camp, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.
Huddle Up: Gallup is by far the cheapest Dallas receiver in terms of draft capital and is only one injury to Amari Cooper or CeeDee Lamb away from being an every-week fantasy WR2. Additional slot usage should allow him to be more consistent for fantasy purposes than he was last year when he spent more than 90 percent of his snaps on the boundary. He is a solid WR4 with significant upside.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup will not receive a contract extension before the start of the regular season and likely will need to wait until after the season to resume talks, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Gallup has played well over the last two season but is behind Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb on the depth chart. He should continue to be an important part of the passing game for the Cowboys and can be a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

Updating a previous story, Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (ankle) is returning to practice Saturday, July 31.
Huddle Up: While Gallup isn't much of a fantasy asset if WRs Amari Cooper (ankle) and CeeDee Lamb are available, it's nice to know he escaped serious injury. Cooper, of course, remains out of practice himself, so Gallup could be thrust into a larger role. Currently, he's something of a WR4/roster depth option with a hint of sneaky upside.
