Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB Nyheim Hines (knee) was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Monday, July 24. Buffalo Bills RB Nyheim Hines (knee) suffered a season-ending knee injury away from the facility, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Hines was going to have a third-down, pass-catching role. Latavius Murray and Damien Harris figure to battle it out for the RB2 spot on the roster. It's questionable whether the team would keep both veteran backs, and the winner of that battle benefits. Both are RB4 candidates later in drafts.

Buffalo Bills RB Nyheim Hines "can function in anything" the Bills do on offense, according to running backs coach Kelly Skipper.
Huddle Up: Hines didn't have the major impact many expected when Buffalo traded for him last season, and while Devin Singletary is no longer in the backfield mix, Hines probably won't offer much in the way of fantasy upside.

Buffalo Bills RB Nyheim Hines restructured his contract Monday, March 13, to convert part of his base salary to signing bonus to provide some cap relief. Incentives added give him the chance to earn more than his previously scheduled $4.79 million in 2023.

Buffalo Bills RB Nyheim Hines probably will receive a bigger role in the offense next season if the team does not re-sign impending free-agent RB Devin Singletary, in the opinion of BillsWire's David De Cristofaro.
