New York Jets K Jason Sanders has been named the team's kicker for Week 1, according to special teams coordinator Chris Banjo. In a corresponding move, the team waived K Cade York.

Free-agent PK Jason Sanders (Giants) agreed to terms with the New York Jets Wednesday, June 3, according to a source. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The team is also releasing PK Younghoe Koo.
