Denver Broncos RB Mike Boone (ankle) was activated from injured reserve on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Huddle Up: With Melvin Gordon now gone, Boone is expected to split work with Latavius Murray, but the latter will likely handle the bulk of the work on the ground, at least for now. Boone is a player to keep an eye on and worth a speculative add for RB-needy fantasy owners.

Denver Broncos RB Mike Boone (ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Oct. 24.
Huddle Up: For those managers in deeper fantasy leagues that need to have a player placed on injured reserve before they can be put on their fantasy team's IR, Boone can be stashed. In most other leagues, Boone can be dropped. The Broncos figure to move forward with Melvin Gordon and Latavius Murray in a two-headed attack for one of the worst offenses in the league. Marlon Mack was signed off the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad to replace him but does not figure to find his way into many snaps.

Denver Broncos RB Mike Boone (ankle) was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain Monday, Oct. 24, that is expected to sideline him for a few weeks, according to a source.
Huddle Up: The Broncos signed Marlon Mack as insurance behind Melvin Gordon and Latavius Murray on Monday. Boone was serving, at best, as fringe depth for fantasy managers in Denver's hopeless offense. He can be cut in most leagues as a result of this news. It seems unlikely Mack will carve out a meaningful role anytime soon, so it is possible that Boone's absence allows fantasy managers in deeper leagues to start Gordon or Murray as a flex option with a bit more confidence moving forward.

Denver Broncos RB Mike Boone (ankle) exited the Week 7 game against the New York Jets with an ankle injury.
Huddle Up: If Boone's injury forces him to miss time, Melvin Gordon and Latavius Murray should both see a few more touches.
