Los Angeles Chargers RB Gus Edwards is going to be the "bell cow" of the backfield, according to general manager Joe Hortiz. I told you we wanted to be bigger, play a physical style of football on both sides of the ball and he helps us do that," Hortiz said.
Huddle Up: It sounds like Edwards will see plenty of touches, and he should be a steady RB2 if remains the lead back all season.

Impending free-agent RB Gus Edwards (Ravens) agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers Monday, March 11, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: It seems like Edwards likely will compete for the starting job this season depending on what the team does at the position. He has played under offensive coordinator Greg Roman before and could be a No. 2 fantasy back in most fantasy leagues if he is the main back.

Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent RB Gus Edwards would be a fit with the Indianapolis Colts, in the opinion of Colts beat writer Nate Atkins. Edwards could serve as the short-yardage and receiving back to take some of the load off of RB Jonathan Taylor.
Huddle Up: Edwards, 29, has been super useful in a pinch when injuries arise, and he had 15 total touchdowns in 2023. His landing spot and role will dictate his fantasy value, but he could be anywhere from a low-end RB2 to a low-end RB3.

Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent RB J.K. Dobbins and RB Gus Edwards are expected to talk with the Ravens about possible new contracts, and general manager Eric DeCosta said the team would like to keep both players.
Huddle Up: Dobbins and Edwards have been the main backs for the Ravens over the last few seasons, but it is not known if either player will return to the team. Both Dobbins and Edwards likely will be part of a committee with a team next season and likely will have some fantasy value.
