Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been the subject of rampant trade speculation since reports surfaced in late April that he wants out of Green Bay. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Friday, May 14, that there's 'nothing new to add' about the situation. 'We obviously still feel the same way,' LaFleur added. 'We want him back in the worst way. He knows that.'
Huddle Up: We've seemed to have settled in to the stalemate portion of the Rodgers saga, and it could be a few weeks before there's any actual developments aside from posturing on both sides. In the meantime, he remains a low-end QB1 for 2021 fantasy purposes.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' side has engaged in contract discussions with the Packers to a degree, and the Packers have made a significant long-term offer.
Huddle Up: Not much to see here. Rodgers is about the No.3 to No. 5 QB to target in fantasy.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers could realistically land with the Denver Broncos, who have the second-most salary cap space in football.
Huddle Up: Rodgers' fantasy value will be about the same wherever he calls signals next season. Denver's thin air can be brutal on a body, and Rodgers has a lengthy injury history. That would be the only concern for the upper-middle QB1.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will consider retirement if his situation with the Packers is not repaired to his liking, according to sources. Rodgers would have to repay the Packers $23 million if he retires.
Huddle Up: The Packers have said repeatedly that Rodgers will be the starting quarterback for them, but Rodgers is unhappy at the moment. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation during the offseason to see if Rodgers will play in 2021. He can be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he plays.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is close to being traded to the Denver Broncos, according to 104.3 The Fan's Mark Schlereth. 'It's about as close to a done deal as can happen,' Schlereth said. 'Now it could fall through, but I've been told by a very reliable source that this thing is going down.' Schlereth wasn't told of any compensation.
Huddle Up: Schlereth was on those championship teams in Denver, so he has connections straight to John Elway. Is this posturing? It could be. He said it right before the NFL draft kicked off. But "Stink" is connected. So keep an eye on it. Rodgers' fantasy value doesn't change much if it happens. However, the thin air in Denver and his history of injuries will be a concern.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will not be traded, according to GM Brian Gutekunst in remarks made following Round 1 of the NFL Draft on Thursday, April 29. Gutekunst added that Rodgers is 'our quarterback' and 'our leader,' though he also said that it 'may take some time' to work through the current differences between Rodgers and the team.
Huddle Up: On the one hand, what else would the GM say? On the other, the timing of the news regarding Rodgers seemed awfully convenient on the anniversary of Green Bay's selection of Jordan Love, giving the team very little time to field offers for the reigning MVP. If the veteran really wanted out it seems more likely that this news would've leaked out months ago. Still, it's sure to dominate offseason discussions for the foreseeable future even though Rodgers remains under contract for three more seasons and would forfeit more than $23 million if he elected to retire, which is his only option if the Packers decide they won't deal him under any circumstance. Purely for fantasy purposes, Rodgers would be a QB1 in any uniform for 2021.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has received a contract extension offer from the Packers, but Rodgers is unhappy with situation with the team, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Rodgers has indicated that he does not want to return, but it is not known if the Packers will want to trade him. Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation because Rodgers can be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he plays.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has told some people within the organization that he does not want to return to the Packers, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Rodgers is coming off a tremendous 2020 season, but it is uncertain if he will play for the Packers or someone else next season. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 fantasy players no matter where he plays.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was the subject of a trade inquiry Wednesday, April 28, made by the San Francisco 49ers, but no formal offer was extended. A source added that there is 'zero percent chance' that Rodgers is traded this offseason.
Huddle Up: After some rumblings early this offseason, Rodgers and the Packers appear back on the same page, and he looks set for his 17th season in Green Bay. Some drop-off can be expected of Rodgers following his NFL MVP season last year, but he's still a solid low-end QB1 fantasy consideration.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will be the Packers' starting quarterback for the foreseeable future, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst.
Huddle Up: The Packers are trying to restructure Rodgers' contract, but he will be the starter for at least one more season. He threw a league-best 48 touchdowns in 2020 and also ranked in the top 10 in passing yards. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.
