New York Jets PK Nick Folk appears likely to win the team's kicking competition versus Harrison Mevis, in the opinion of The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt.

Free-agent PK Nick Folk (Titans) signed an undisclosed deal with the New York Jets Tuesday, July 29.

Tennessee Titans WR Tyler Boyd (foot), PK Nick Folk (abdomen), S Amani Hooker (shoulder), LB Arden Key (hand), LB Otis Reese (ankle), RB Tyjae Spears (concussion) and OT Jaelyn Duncan (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 3, and have been ruled out for Week 18. WR Colton Dowell (knee) was limited during practice but has been ruled out. RB Tony Pollard (ankle) and TE Chig Okonkwo (abdomen) did not participate and are listed as questionable. OG Dillon Radunz (shoulder) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report.
