Atlanta Falcons WR Bryan Edwards thinks he's a great fit in head coach Arthur Smith's offense. "I just knew he liked the big-bodied receiver and they ran a lot of in-breaking routes with a lot of guys who could get YAC and make big plays off YAC," Edwards said. "When I heard I was coming here, I felt like it was a really good fit for me, probably as good as it was going to get."

Huddle Up: After receiving some hype ahead of 2021, Edwards posted a career-high 571 yards and three touchdowns, although we were hoping for more. Edwards enters a wide open situation at wide receiver in Atlanta, but we'd have to see him excel first before trusting him in lineups. He's a late-round draft target and a bench stash at best for now.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Bryan Edwards was traded along with a 2023 seventh-round draft pick to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick Friday, May 13.

Huddle Up: Atlanta is probably the one landing spot Edwards could enjoy some fantasy value. After No. 8 overall draft pick Drake London, the Falcons have a collection of journeymen and late-round picks at receiver (Auden Tate, KhaDarel Hodge, Frank Darby, Olamide Zaccheaus, etc.). It is unlikely Edwards will succeed with Marcus Mariota and/or Desmond Ridder when he couldn't do so with Derek Carr, but he will have about as good of a chance to start as any of the aforementioned non-London receivers.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Bryan Edwards averaged 30.5 receiving yards per game after Rich Bisaccia was named interim head coach.

Huddle Up: Edwards entered the 2021 season with some sleeper buzz, but after a promising start, he quickly became an afterthought in the offense. Even if Bisaccia isn't around next season, it is hard to see Edwards emerging as a consistent weapon in the Las Vegas passing attack.
