Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been declared inactive for the Week 7 game.
Huddle Up: Kareem Hunt should receive most of the work at running back with Edwards-Helaire sitting out. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) was a full participant in practice once again on Friday, Oct. 18, and carries no designation into Week 7.
Huddle Up: Edwards-Helaire was activated off the NFI list earlier this week, clearing his path to return to the field. He should have a role behind Kareem Hunt, but not enough to put him in lineups. He is, however, a handcuff for Hunt and someone to keep an eye on moving forward.

Kansas City Chiefs DE Mike Danna (pectoral) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 18, and was ruled out for Week 7. Also, WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) was limited and is questionable, and RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness), WR Mecole Hardman (knee) and DL Derrick Nnadi (triceps) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.
Huddle Up: Edwards-Helaire appears to be on track to play in Week 7 but probably will have to share playing time with Kareem Hunt during the game. He should see some touches during the game but may only be a flex option in deeper leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Huddle Up: It is not known how Edwards-Helaire will be used when he returns to the lineup but probably will share playing time with Kareem Hunt. Fantasy players may want to see how Edwards-Helaire is used before considering him for their lineup.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) was activated from the Non-football illness list Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Huddle Up: Edwards-Helaire's return will be something for fantasy managers to monitor. It has been the Kareem Hunt show for the last two weeks from a volume perspective, but this could wind up turning into a major split. Managers should view Hunt as a high-end RB3 while Edwards-Helaire is an upside stash until the Chiefs show what the split looks like.

Kansas City Chiefs DE Mike Danna (calf), RB Kareem Hunt (shoulder), LB Nick Bolton (hamstring), and DT Derrick Nnadi (triceps) fully practiced Saturday, Oct. 5, and avoided injury tags. WR Mecole Hardman (knee) fully practiced but is questionable, and RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) is doubtful after a limited session.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4.
Huddle Up: Edwards-Helaire is currently on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list, but fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if he will be activated before the Week 5 game. He probably will see some touches if he is active for the game, but players may want to see him play in a game before considering him for their lineups.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (personal) was designated to return from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Huddle Up: Edwards-Helaire has been a forgotten man in Kansas City, but with Isiah Pacheco (leg) on IR with a fractured fibula the team is currently getting by with a mix of Kareem Hunt, who is 29 and on the downside of his career, Samaje Perine, a passing-down specialist, and Carson Steele, an undrafted free agent that has lost two fumbles in 28 carries. If CEH can get right, he offers more versatility and upside than anyone else on the roster. If you add him now, you can stash Edwards-Helaire on your roster's IR slot to see how things unfold.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (personal), who is currently on the non-football illness list, is expected to resume practicing during the upcoming week, according to multiple sources.
