Minnesota Vikings QB Kellen Mond worked out with WR Justin Jefferson this offseason before the 2021 NFL Draft, Jefferson said Tuesday, May 11. 'I feel like he's going to be a good player on this team,' Jefferson said. 'He has a very strong arm. ... I think he will be a great addition to this team.'

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson compiled 450 yards after the catch in 2020 - the fifth-highest total for a rookie receiver since 2006 - according to Pro Football Focus.
Huddle Up: The only four receivers (Deebo Samuel, Odell Beckham Jr., Michael Thomas and A.J. Brown) to produce more after the catch as a rookie than Jefferson are generally considered studs at the position or close to reaching that status. Minnesota got itself a keeper in Jefferson last spring, and fantasy owners can feel confident he'll be a strong WR1 option for the foreseeable future.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson recorded 56 receptions of at least 10 yards this past season, which was most by a rookie wide receiver since 2006.
Huddle Up: Jefferson recorded seven 100-yard games this season and will be one of the main options in the passing game again in 2021. He should be an early round pick in fantasy leagues and will be weekly starting option.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson posted 23 receptions of at least 20 yards this season, which is the most by a rookie since 2006.
Huddle Up: Jefferson ranked in the top five in receiving yards with 1,400 and averaged 15.9 yards per catch during his rookie season. He will continue to be a main option in the passing game for the Vikings and will be a weekly fantasy option in all fantasy leagues.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson's 2.66 receiving yards per route ranked second to Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams among receivers who ran 150 or more routes this season.
Huddle Up: Jefferson turned in a historic rookie season, stepping in for the departed Stefon Diggs and becoming an immediate starter for fantasy owners. He should be locked into a similar role in 2021.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson broke the Super Bowl era record for receiving yards by a rookie with 1,379. The record was previously held by then-Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, who had 1,377 receiving yards in 2003. Bill Groman of the Houston Oilers still holds the NFL record with 1,473 yards back in 1960.
Huddle Up: Jefferson didn't become a starter until Week 3 so who knows if he might've surpassed Groman had he started from Week 1 on. Regardless, Jefferson established himself as a strong WR2 in just his first season, though his tendency to beat up on lesser opponents and struggle against better ones will bear watching entering 2021.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson caught six passes for 85 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 16. He was targeted 10 times during the game.
Huddle Up: Jefferson has been targeted at least 10 times in four of his last five games and has posted at least 70 yards in six of his last seven games. He has had a breakout rookie season and should be a starting option in all leagues next week.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson used an expletive while shouting at QB Kirk Cousins on an incompletion during the Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears, and the complaint was audible on the FOX broadcast. However, the rookie reached out on social media to defend his actions, and several teammates spoke about it as well. 'One of the most selfless people that I've been around as a receiver. Just goes out there, handles his job, grinds, competitive,' WR Adam Thielen said. 'Obviously wants the football, wants to help the team win, but man, he's a great teammate.'
Huddle Up: Jefferson has registered 1,182 receiver yards, first in the NFL among rookies, and he will join RB Dalvin Cook as one of two Vikings to make the NFC Pro Bowl roster. He has set a franchise single-season rookie record with 73 receptions, and he has two games left to break the receiving yards mark of 1,313. Jefferson has emerged as a must-start fantasy option in all formats.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson broke Randy Moss' single-season franchise record for receptions by a rookie, finishing with eight catches on 11 targets for 104 yards in a 33-27 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 15.
Huddle Up: It was Jefferson's sixth 100-yard effort of the season, and he has reached 70 receiving yards in five of his last six games. He draws a tough matchup against the New Orleans Saints in Week 16, but the rookie will still offer WR2 upside.

Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson registered four grabs for 39 yards on a team-high eight targets in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Huddle Up: The rookie had emerged as a reliable fantasy receiver in most formats, but this was a mediocre performance when fantasy owners definitely needed him the most. He can still be trusted as a WR3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 15 against the Chicago Bears.
