Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford has reportedly "worked something out" with the team regarding his contract and will report to training camp as expected on Tuesday, July 23. Stafford was seeking a pay raise in light of the explosion in salaries at the quarterback position in recent months.
Huddle Up: There is no word yet on the details, but it seems reasonable that Stafford will join the $50 million/season club at quarterback. Few quarterbacks closed last season out better than Stafford, who averaged 284 yards passing and threw for 15 touchdowns versus only three interceptions over his final six games. The 35-year-old has never been much of a threat with his legs, but he could still push for low-end QB1 numbers in what should easily be a top-10 offense in 2024.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford is participating in the minicamp this week and is expected to report to training camp on time, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Huddle Up: Stafford is looking for a new contract but has decided not to skip any workouts and is on track to report for camp on time as well. He will have a terrific receiver duo to work with again this season but probably will be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford will be present for the mandatory minicamp next week even though he is seeking a new contract, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Huddle Up: Stafford has not been sitting out the offseason workouts, so his presence at the minicamp should be expected. He is coming off a successful 2023 season with 3,965 passing yards and 24 touchdowns but probably will be a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues this upcoming season.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford participated in the voluntary workout Monday, May 20.
Huddle Up: Stafford has been looking to rework his contract but is not holding out during the offseason. He has one of the better receiving duos to work with in the NFL and should throw for plenty of yards in 2024. Fantasy players in most leagues probably can consider Stafford a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford is seeking a contract revision that would allot him more guaranteed money past the 2024 season.
Huddle Up: Stafford was the QB15 in 15 games played last season and will be around that low-end QB1/high-end QB2 mark again in 2024.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford plans to return to the team in 2024, he said on Sunday, Jan. 14.
Huddle Up: The Rams couldn't cut Stafford even if they wanted to, as the veteran signal-caller has a massive dead-cap hit in 2024. However, the Rams could certainly do worse after Stafford showed he still has something left in the tank after he led the team to the playoffs with a strong stretch run of the season that saw him rank as QB10 overall from Week 11 on. As long as he's healthy and has Sean McVay calling the plays, Stafford will be a solid QB2 who will post QB1 production some weeks.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (non-injury), RB Kyren Williams (non-injury), WR Cooper Kupp (non-injury) and TE Tyler Higbee (shoulder) have been declared inactive for the Week 18 game.
Huddle Up: The Rams have clinched a playoff spot, so they are resting most of their skill players. Ronnie Rivers, Royce Freeman and Davis Allen will have some value in fantasy leagues, but fantasy players can consider other options for their lineups.

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as doubtful for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Carson Wentz is scheduled to start the regular season finale with Stafford sitting out but probably should be avoided in fantasy leagues.
