The coach and player have familiarity, working together previously with the Denver Broncos, and it's why Locke chose Dallas as his landing spot. "It's pretty much going to be a similar system," Locke said. "I'm sure he's going to throw his own twists and turns making it his own, but it's going to be a familiar scheme and versatility, the types of players he wants, especially in the secondary, I made my decision based on that."

Impending free-agent S P.J. Locke (Broncos) reportedly agreed to a one-year, $5 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, March 10.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix completed 26 of his 46 passes for 279 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in a 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. He also rushed 12 times for a team-high 29 yards. RB RJ Harvey finished with 20 rushing yards on six carries and caught five passes for 46 yards, and RB Jaleel McLaughlin gained 21 yards on four carries.
