Free-agent RB Danny Woodhead (Ravens) has been contacted by the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons, according to a source.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: Neither of those teams is ideal for Woodhead from a fantasy standpoint. Both backfields are already crowded and Woodhead would most definitely be relegated to a change-of-pace role. That's not even factoring in his extensive injury history. No matter where Woodhead lands, proceed with caution.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead will be released Tuesday, March 13, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Woodhead still has sneaky PPR value, maybe as a RB4, depending on where he lands.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead is believed to be in jeopardy of being cut this offseason.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: He wasn't a real good fit in the offense and could still provide small spurts of PPR viability. Depending on where he lands, he could be a solid RB4.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead caught five passes for 33 yards against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: Woodhead has received a majority of his touches in the passing game this season but has not posted more than 33 receiving yards in any game. He is still valuable as a flex option in point-per-reception leagues because of his role in the passing game.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead caught six passes for 31 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: Woodhead has been used mostly as a receiver since returning to the team and probably should only be used in point-per-reception leagues. He can be a flex option in PPR leagues next week against the Indianapolis Colts.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead rushed for 22 yards on four carries against the Houston Texans in Week 12. He also caught four passes 23 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Woodhead should receive a similar workload in each game moving forward because of his ability to be a receiver out of the backfield. He can be at least a flex option in point-per-reception leagues.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead will not be on a snap count in Week 12 against the Houston Texans, according to offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg. Woodhead was limited to 13 snaps in Week 11 in his return from the Reserve/Injured list with a hamstring injury in part due to the big lead Baltimore enjoyed.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: Woodhead makes for an interesting flex option in PPR leagues this week in that Houston's run defense has been among the best in the league. While Alex Collins is getting more work in the passing game than he was earlier in the season, Woodhead is about as good as it gets in that part of the game among running backs in the league. Owners scrambling from the loss of a player such as Chris Thompson could potentially get similar production from Woodhead moving forward.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead played 13 of 59 plays (22 percent) in Week 11.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: He should be more involved moving forward, but he's really only an option in PPR formats. He's a flex option in fantasy.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead caught five passes for 21 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 11.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: Woodhead returned to the lineup after missing most of the season because off a hamstring injury. He should be involved in the passing game moving forward and should be considered a No. 2 running back or a flex option in point-per-reception leagues.

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Nov. 18.
SOURCE: Not available
Huddle Up: Owners are advised to play the wait-and-see game with Woodhead in regards to starting him in fantasy, but the odds are high he will take over Javorius Allen's role beginning in Week 12 if he proves he can hold up against the Green Bay Packers. If he does, he should be a capable back-end RB2 in most leagues.
