Free-agent RB Travis Etienne (Jaguars) officially agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with the New Orleans Saints Wednesday, March 11. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Etienne will take over as the starter right away even with Alvin Kamara on the roster and should see plenty of touches each game. He will be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues next season.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara's future in New Orleans could be in question with the signing of RB Travis Etienne by the team, which is raising questions around the league about Kamara possibly being cut loose, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN on Monday, March 9.
Huddle Up: Kamara took a big step back in 2025, playing the fewest games of his career with career lows in every meaningful rushing and receiving statistic. While Kamara has made it known that he wants to stay in New Orleans for the duration of his career, the Saints can create $8.5 million in cap space with a post-June 1 cut. His age (30), plus declining skillset and production, make him a dubious fantasy asset, whether he plays in New Orleans or elsewhere in 2026. With Etienne now in tow for the Saints, it makes the fantasy value of Kamara in New Orleans even more bleak.

Impending free-agent RB Travis Etienne (Jaguars) agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the New Orleans Saints Monday, March 9, worth $52 million, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Etienne will likely become the main running back for the Saints even though Alvin Kamara is on the roster. Etienne should see plenty of touches in both the running and passing game next season and will be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent RB Travis Etienne is on the New York Giants' radar as they plan to become a more physical, run-heavy team.
Huddle Up: Etienne has a stigma of being oft injured, but he played in all 17 games last year and wound up being the RB10 in PPR leagues. His value will be predicated on the situation, but pairing him with Cam Skattebo would diminish his value in fantasy to RB2 range.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne has "legitimate interest" in signing with the Kansas City Chiefs, according to The Kansas City Star's Pete Sweeney.
Huddle Up: Etienne broke out in 2025 in the Jaguars' new look offense. He has shown he can be an RB1 for a team and the Chiefs have a need with Isiah Pacheco becoming a free agent.

Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent RB Travis Etienne is unlikely to be a candidate for the franchise tag this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Michael DiRocco.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can monitor the situation to see if Etienne remains with the Jaguars or will find another team this offseason. He is coming off a productive 2025 season and should have a good role no matter where he plays. He can be at least a No. 3 running back in most leagues next season.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne "looks as if he's not in the Jags' future plans," in the opinion of ESPN's Dan Graziano, who notes that the team did not re-sign Etienne ahead of his impending free agency this offseason, and RBs Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen were both drafted by new general manager James Gladstone. Graziano does add, however, that the team could potentially try to bring back Etienne on a short-term deal.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne rushed for 32 yards on 14 carries against the Tennessee Titans in Week 18. He also one pass for six yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Etienne was not able to find a lot of success in the running game this week but should see plenty of touches in the team's first playoff game. He will be a starting option in all playoff fantasy leagues next week if the Jaguars to not have a bye.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne Jr. rushed 17 times for a game-high 76 yards in Week 17 against the Indianapolis Colts, while adding two receptions for 16 yards on three targets.
