The team also released OG Ike Boettger, S Rudy Ford, TE Jacob Hollister and TE Jesper Horsted. DT Junior Aho (undisclosed) and OT Tyler X. Smith (undisclosed) were waived/injured while LB Amare Barno (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list. The team also placed LB Tae Davis (undisclosed) and LB Cam Gill (undisclosed) on the Reserve/Injured list.

Free-agent TE Feleipe Franks, CB Kiondre Thomas and WR Devin Carter signed undisclosed contracts with the Carolina Panthers on Friday, July 26. The Panthers also waived S Clayton Isbell, OT Christian Duffie and WR Sam Pinckney.
