Free agent RB Michael Carter (Cardinals) is signing with the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday, April 1. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed seven times for 18 yards and caught three passes for 21 yards in a 37-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Injuries forced Carter into the lead role in the Arizona backfield, but James Conner and Trey Benson should be healthy to start next season, and Carter will be hitting free agency. He could land a backup role somewhere, but it would take a special set of circumstances for Carter to find himself in a prominent role in 2026.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed for 29 yards on seven carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. He also caught two passes for 14 yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Carter shared playing time with Emari Demercado but did not see a lot of carries because the team was playing from behind most of the game. He has had some decent outings in the last few weeks but will probably only be a possible flex option in leagues next week.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed 11 times for 65 yards in a 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16.
Huddle Up: Carter has topped 50 rushing yards in back-to-back games, and he has established himself as Arizona's lead back. He doesn't offer a lot of upside, but Carter can be a flex option in his current role.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter will start at running back in Week 16.
Huddle Up: Carter had a 14-56-0 line on the ground and 4-38-0 through the air. He'll be a flex candidate against the Atlanta Falcons.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed 14 times for 56 yards in Week 15 against the Houston Texans, while he had four receptions for 38 yards on four targets.
Huddle Up: Carter turned into the workhorse for the Cardinals once Bam Knight went down with an ankle injury after just one carry. If Knight is forced to miss time, Carter could be worth a look as a low-end RB3 or flex fantasy option if he is tabbed to lead the backfield.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed three times for 13 yards in Week 14 against the Los Angeles rams, while adding two receptions for 18 yards on four targets.
Huddle Up: Carter and Bam Knight each struggled in the run game, and it was actually Jacoby Brissett leading the team with 22 rushing yards. With Trey Benson nearing a return from the Reserve/Injured list, Carter and Knight are each likely to see a decrease in offensive snaps. Carter should only be rostered in deeper fantasy leagues at this point.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed five times for 17 yards and caught five passes for 47 yards in a 20-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Carter hasn't made much of an impact as a runner, but he does have 13 receptions over the past three games. Carter doesn't see quite enough volume to warrant a starting spot, but as long as Trey Benson remains sidelined, Carter is worth stashing as the primary backup to Bam Knight.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter rushed five times for 28 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards in a 27-24 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.
Huddle Up: Carter's 28 rushing yards actually led the team and were more than he managed in his three previous games combined. Arizona's running game has struggled overall, but as long as Trey Benson is out of action, Carter should continue to have a role in the Arizona backfield. He's worth stashing in case injuries push him to the top of the depth chart.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Carter split the backfield snaps with RB Bam Knight in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. Carter had 33 snaps, or 42 percent of the 79 offensive plays, while Knight had 32 snaps, or 41 percent.
Huddle Up: Carter was used more for his pass-catching ability, as he had two runs for six yards, and five grabs for 22 yards on seven targets, while Knight had a team-best 24 rushing yards and a touchdown, and four grabs for 21 yards on four targets. Both Carter and Knight are likely to be low-end RB3 or flex fantasy options, especially if Emari Demercado cannot shake off the ankle injury he picked up in Sunday's game.
