Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (Achilles) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Huddle Up: Omarion Hampton will receive most of the work at running back with Harris out for the season and will be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (Achilles) had an MRI confirm a torn Achilles Monday, Sept. 22. He'll miss the remainder of the season.
Huddle Up: Omarion Hampton's value rises a little, but he's probably not going to see a lot more touches than he would with Harris. Hassan Haskins is next in line, but they are going to have to go outside the organization to add to their running backs room. Hampton becomes a potential RB1, and Haskins is the handcuff. He has a career 3.1 yards per rush and really just provides a short-yardage back. Keep an eye on the transaction log because they could bring in someone that would usurp Haskins.

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (Achilles) exited the Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos with an Achilles injury.
Huddle Up: An Achilles injury likely means that Harris will miss the remainder of the season, and it will leave rookie Omarion Hampton as the unquestioned lead option. Hampton finished with 25 touches and 129 yards from scrimmage against Denver, and he should be a RB2 with RB1 upside if Harris is indeed out of the year.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (lower body) suffered a non-contact lower-body injury in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos in the second quarter. He immediately crumpled to the ground, and he was unable to put weight on his leg before being taken to the locker room via cart.
Huddle Up: Harris' injury certainly didn't look good, as he went down in a heap, perhaps catching a cleat in the artificial turf at SoFi Stadium. He grabbed the back of his left lower leg, perhaps signifying an Achilles injury. More on the injury when information becomes available.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris carried the ball eight times for 28 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. Harris added a pair of receptions for 20 yards.
Huddle Up: Limited to a dozen snaps in Week 1, Harris was far more involved Monday night, splitting touches with Omarion Hampton. The veteran missed much of camp with an eye injury, and it looks like the team was just being cautious during the opener versus the Chiefs. Fantasy owners will want to see how touches and snaps are divvied up in Week 3, but if Harris if bouncing around on the waiver wire he could be a decent depth addition. Playing him, however, even as a flex, is an iffy proposition this Sunday against the Broncos.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (eye) was limited to 12 offensive snaps in the Week 1 game, but head coach Jim Harbaugh said Harris could receive more work in Week 2.
Huddle Up: Harris missed training camp because of his eye injury and is being eased back into the offense. Omarion Hampton was the main running back in the opener and will probably see more work than Harris again this week. Harris will be a risky option this week because of his uncertain workload and could be benched if other options are available.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris finished with one carry for five yards and had one catch for five yards in a 27-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
Huddle Up: Harris did miss most of training camp after a sustaining an eye injury, but it was still surprising to see the veteran's complete lack of involvement in the offense. Harris' role will presumably grow moving forward, but Omarion Hampton looks like the only Charger back worth starting heading into Week 2.

Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (eye) and S Elijah Molden (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 4, and are not on the injury report for Week 1. The Chargers did not hold a practice Thursday, so the report is an estimation.
