New York Giants WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers.
Huddle Up: Toney appeared to be to asserting himself as the alpha receiver in this offense in Weeks 4 and 5, but his Week 6 ankle injury figures to keep him on the sidelines for at least another game or two. With Kenny Golladay out, Sterling Shepard highly questionable and several other pass-catchers on the injury report, Dante Pettis is shaping up to be a high-volume receiver this weekend.

New York Giants WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) aggravated his right ankle injury in Week 6 and early indications are that it is more serious than a simple sprain, according to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.
Huddle Up: Toney seems extremely likely to be sidelined for at least Week 7. It is still unclear how significant the injury is, but it sounds as though fantasy managers should prepare to be without him for at least one more week after that. Sterling Shepard was able to return from his own ankle injury in Week 6 and soak up 10 of 14 targets for 76 yards, and he stands to benefit the most from a fantasy perspective during Toney's likely absence.

Huddle Up: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long Toney will be sidelined. Toney will join Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton on the injury report, so Sterling Shepard will take over as the main receiver for the Giants and is the only receiver on the team that should be a starting option.

He has 16 receptions for 267 yards in his last two games and should be a solid WR3 or flex option in fantasy leagues this week, especially in the wake of WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) being ruled out for another game.
