Cincinnati Bengals RB Khalil Herbert fumbled on his lone carry during the team's Week 10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He was able to recover it.
Huddle Up: While the fumble was officially charged to Joe Burrow, it was clearly on Herbert, who jogged off the field and never touched the ball again. Don't read into it. Herbert was rusty and just got to Cincy earlier this week. His role should grow in future weeks, though his fantasy value at this stage seems exclusively as a handcuff option for Chase Brown owners.

Cincinnati Bengals RB Khalil Herbert is expected to play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 despite being traded to the team just days prior, according to sources Thursday, Nov. 7.
Huddle Up: With Chase Brown taking over the backfield, Herbert is a high-end handcuff until his role in the offense becomes more clear.

Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert was acquired by the Cincinnati Bengals Tuesday, Nov. 5, in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick.
Huddle Up: Zack Moss is out indefinitely with a neck injury, and Herbert will slot in behind Chase Brown. He should be handcuffed to Brown, and he could have some flex consideration eventually.

Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert rushed four times for just nine yards in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts, and he was not targeted in the pass game.

Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert had two carries, three yards, and a touchdown against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Sept. 15. He added four yards on two receptions.
Huddle Up: After leading the Bears' running backs with 611 yards last season, Herbert is only getting a handful of touches following the arrival of D'Andre Swift. Expect that to continue moving forward, leaving Herbert with value only in the event of a Swift injury.

Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert rushed four times for a team-high 35 yards in a 21-17 win over the Houston Texans in the Hallf of Fame Game Thursday, Aug. 1.

Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert may feel the crunch on cut down day this summer with Roschon Johnson in the mix, Travis Homer occupying a spot on special teams and D'Andre Swift locked in as the starting running back, according to Brendan Sugrue of BearsWire.
Huddle Up: Sugrue cites pass-protection struggles and durability (nine missed games over the last two seasons) as reasons why Chicago could move on from Herbert. It is a virtual certainty that Herbert would land on his feet elsewhere quickly. The Dallas Cowboys would be considered among the favorites to scoop Herbert up if he was let go, although cases can also be made for the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers and New York Giants among others.
