Arizona Cardinals WR A.J. Green announced his retirement on social media Monday, Feb. 6.
Huddle Up: Green was one of the NFL's elite receivers from the time he entered the league with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2011 until the end of the 2017 season. Groin and toe injuries hampered him in 2018 and an ankle injury in 2019 cost him the entire season and marked the beginning of the end for him. Green, who spent the final two years of his NFL playing days with the Cardinals, will finish his career with 727 catches for 10,514 yards and 70 touchdowns.
