Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) was cleared to practice Wednesday, Oct. 27, and has been designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list. The Texans have 21 days to decide if he will be activated or remain on injured reserve.
Huddle Up: Taylor should return to the lineup in the next week or two and likely will regain his starting job. He threw for 416 yards and three touchdowns in two games before the injury. Taylor can be an option in two-quarterback leagues when he returns.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) will return to practice Wednesday, Oct. 27.
Huddle Up: Taylor could evolve into a matchup play in fantasy once he rounds back into form and is worth having in two-QB leagues.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is expected to return to practice this week, head coach David Culley said Sunday, Oct. 24. However, the team is still unsure if Taylor will be ready to play in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Huddle Up: If Taylor isn't ready, rookie Davis Mills will start again. Whether or not Taylor can return, a start against the Los Angeles Rams would not be recommended from a fantasy perspective.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is considered day-to-day but it is not known when he will be activated from the Reserve/Injured list.
Huddle Up: Taylor could start practicing in the near future and should regain the starting job when healthy. He should be avoided in standard leagues but can be an option in two-quarterback leagues when he returns.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is the starter when he returns to full health, according to head coach David Culley.
Huddle Up: Taylor is a very iffy matchup play in pristine situations or a so-so QB2 in two-QB leagues.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) appears unlikely to return from the Reserve/Injured list this week, according to head coach David Culley.
Huddle Up: Taylor was sharp in the season opener and looking good in Week 2 before suffering the injury that has sidelined him the last three games. Rookie Davis Mills surprisingly shredded the New England Patriots defense in Week 5 but did nothing of note in his first two career starts. Taylor's mobility typically makes him a decent QB2 option, but neither he nor Mills will be starting fantasy options in the next three weeks with games against the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is expected to be out 'for a while' and could be headed to the Reserve/Injured list with the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 2, according to a source.
Huddle Up: It means Houston will have no choice but to turn to rookie Davis Mills, so the Texans will undoubtedly get a long look at a player they need to evaluate in order to make a decision on adding a quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft. Mills figures to be a sizable downgrade from Taylor, which figures to cool down Brandin Cooks' somewhat hot start and make just about every player from the Houston offense unusable for fantasy purposes.

Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his injured hamstring but will miss at least the Week 3 game, according to a source.
Huddle Up: Fantasy players can monitor the situation to see how long Taylor will miss. Davis Mills is on track to start next week and was productive in relief against the Cleveland Browns this week. Mills can still be avoided in fantasy leagues at this time.

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) will have an MRI Monday, Sept. 20, on the injured hamstring he suffered in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. He has been ruled out for the Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers, a Thursday game.
Huddle Up: Taylor just can't seem to catch a break. Rookie Davis Mills came on for Taylor, and he appears to be in line to start in Week 3. Neither Taylor nor Mills has much in the way of fantasy value for the Texans.
