San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel has been receiving trade interest from the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills, but neither team appears likely to acquire him, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk have both been involved in rumors this week, but it seems like the 49ers will keep both at this point. Samuel will be a valuable part of any offense he is a part of in 2024 and will be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel appears more likely to be traded at this point than teammate Brandon Aiyuk. According to Boston Sports Journal's Mike Giardi, the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots are the two teams showing the most interest in acquiring Samuel - presumably with their selections at the top of the second round.
Huddle Up: Samuel landing with the Patriots is not an outcome fantasy managers want to see, as the combination of Jacoby Brissett and Drake Maye is highly unlikely to maximize his skill set. A trade with Buffalo would be more interesting, but the Bills already have a Swiss Army knife receiver in Curtis Samuel. Deebo Samuel would be the most attractive Buffalo receiver to draft, but he will likely struggle to maintain the same WR2 value he currently enjoys with San Francisco.

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is more likely to be traded than WR Brandon Aiyuk, according to teams that Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle has spoken with.
Huddle Up: The 49ers selected Ricky Pearsall in the first round of the draft, and if either Samuel or Aiyuk is dealt, it should result in more targets for the rookie. If Samuel ends up being moved, Aiyuk will have WR1 upside.

Huddle Up: Aiyuk has been looking for a new contract, so he has been mentioned in trade rumors, but Samuel is a possible new option for teams. Both receivers will be starters no matter where they play this upcoming season and can be weekly starting options in all fantasy leagues.
