Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson will have a 'complementary' role in the backfield behind RB Cam Akers this season, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson (ankle) will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of the high ankle sprain he suffered during the Week 16 game.
Huddle Up: Malcolm Brown is the only healthy running back at this point, but Cam Akers may be available for the Week 17 game. Fantasy players should monitor the situation during the week, but Brown can be a No. 2 running back or flex option if he receives most of the work at running back.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson (ankle) suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 16 and is likely out for Week 17.
Huddle Up: Malcolm Brown may be the last-man standing in the backfield for Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals. Jared Goff (thumb) is also at risk of missing the game, and Brown could be leaned upon heavily. View him as a high-end RB2.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson (ankle) ran 12 times for 62 yards but was not targeted in the passing game in Week 16 versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Huddle Up: Henderson got tackled from behind just shy of the goal line midway through the third quarter and did not return. He showed his usual explosion on a few runs before departing and figures to be a high-upside handcuff to Cam Akers moving forward. As for the remainder of 2020, the fact that he did not return suggests he'll be hard-pressed to play in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals. With Akers also on the shelf, it means Malcolm Brown could have some low-end RB2 viability.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson carried the ball twice for five yards against the New England Patriots on Thursday, Dec. 10.
Huddle Up: After working as the top back for the first half of the season, Henderson has watched his role all but disappear with just five carries combined over the past two games to Cam Akers' 50. Henderson is no longer playable and can be jettisoned outside of deeper leagues.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson rushed three times for 49 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 25 yards in a 38-28 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13.
Huddle Up: Although Henderson made the most of his limited touches, the fact that Cam Akers logged 21 carries doesn't bode well for his fantasy value going forward.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson mustered only 19 yards on 10 carries in Week 12 versus the San Francisco 49ers.
Huddle Up: Henderson appeared to be shaping up as a solid RB2 at the end of October, but he was nearly useless for his fantasy owners in November, totaling 99 yards rushing and a touchdown on 33 carries across four games. Cam Akers had the best game of his rookie season in this one - albeit doing most of his work on a 61-yard run - and may be poised for more work down the stretch if Henderson doesn't get it going soon. Henderson should be considered no more than a weak flex option in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson rushed eight times for just five yards in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he added two receptions for four yards on three targets.
Huddle Up: Henderson wasn't the only one having trouble getting something going. The Rams ran 20 times for just 37 yards, or 1.9 yards per attempt, and the Bucs had just 42 rushing yards. It was a pass-first type of game. Henderson will look to bounce back in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson ran seven times for 28 yards and a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10. He also caught one pass for five yards.
Huddle Up: While we wouldn't call Henderson a workhorse, the Memphis product was clearly the primary back for most of the first eight games. Coming out of the bye, however, it looked like a pretty even split between Henderson, Malcom Brown and Cam Akers, which is nightmare fuel for fantasy owners. Don't overreact to one week -- and do keep in mind that Henderson hurt his quad back in Week 8 -- but this is something that will need to be scrutinized in the leadup to Week 11.

Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Huddle Up: Henderson has received at least 10 carries in five of the last seven games and should have some success against the Seattle Seahawks. He can be considered a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.
