Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler carried the ball twice for four yards in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.
Huddle Up: With Aaron Jones able to recover from his hip injury, Chandler was barely used on Sunday. His long-term outlook was also clouded by the mid-week acquisition of Cam Akers. While Chandler served as RB2 in Week 7, Akers could usurp that role at any point. If that happens, Chandler's appeal as a Jones handcuff would be gone.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler rushed for 30 yards on 14 carries against the New York Jets in Week 5. He also caught two passes for nine yards during the game.
Huddle Up: Chandler took over as the starting running back after Aaron Jones' injury and could start in Week 7 if Jones is not available to play. He can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues if he starts.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler had just three carries for five yards versus the Green Bay Packers in Week 4. He added one catch for eight yards.
Huddle Up: After posting 42 yards in Week 1 and 82 in Week 2, Chandler has posted back-to-back games with just 13 combined yards a piece. The team is leaning more heavily on Aaron Jones for the time being, but don't forget that Jones has a lengthy injury history, which makes it a smart move to continue holding onto Chandler despite his recent lack of production.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler rushed 10 times for a team-high 82 yards in a 23-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2.
Huddle Up: Chandler was bottled up in the opener, but he led the Minnesota rushing attack against the 49ers. He and Aaron Jones have each taken a turn leading the ground game, and the committee approach is going to limit the upside of both backs.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler rushed eight times for 17 yards in Week 1 against the New York Giants, while absorbing his three targets for three grabs and 25 yards.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler rushed 12 times for a game-best 69 yards in Week 18 against the Detroit Lions, while adding two receptions for 20 yards on three targets.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler ran the ball 10 times for 40 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 17. He also caught three passes for 24 yards.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler rushed for 17 yards and one touchdown on eight carries against the Detroit Lions in Week 16.

Minnesota Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) is expected to play in Week 16's game against the Detroit Lions, although he will not be playing at 100 percent, according to a source. As a result, it is likely that RB Ty Chandler will receive the bulk of the offensive snaps.
Huddle Up: Mattison had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging just one limited practice session during the week. Since he won't see a normal workload, he should be viewed as a risky flex option in fantasy leagues this week if he receives clearance to play.

Minnesota Vikings RB Ty Chandler has three rushes of 20-plus yards in 72 carries this season while RB Alexander Mattison has one such run on 168 carries. Chandler has also scored on both his goal-to-go runs while Mattison has gone scoreless on 11 such carries while netting a total of one yard.
Huddle Up: With Mattison battling an ankle injury, Chandler could lead the Minnesota rushing in Week 16. Even if Mattison returns, Chandler has likely played his way into a steady role.
