Denver Broncos RB RJ Harvey is expected to head up the backfield in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 25, against the New England Patriots. RBs Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie are expected to be the backups, as RB J.K. Dobbins (foot) was just not yet ready to return.
Huddle Up: It's a difficult matchup for Harvey and the Broncos tailbacks, as the Patriots allowed just 1,729 rushing yards this season, with 4.2 yards per carry, 11 rushing touchdowns and just nine runs of 20 or more yards, and a single run of 40+ yards. For those in postseason fantasy leagues and DFS, he is simply a mid-tier back for Sunday's matchup, which should be dominated by defense.

Denver Broncos RB Tyler Badie caught two passes for two yards and and lost two yards on two carries in a 19-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18.
Huddle Up: Badie finished the year with just eight carries, but he did show some potential in the passing game. Badie's current role is too limited to warrant fantasy consideration, but if RJ Harvey or Jaleel McLaughlin would miss time during Denver's postseason run, Badie could step up.

Denver Broncos RB Tyler Badie did not have a carry in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs, while posting one reception for no gain on his only target.
Huddle Up: There was some thought that Badie might serve as the primary back to RJ Harvey with J.K. Dobbins hitting the Reserve/Injured list, but it was Jaleel McLaughlin pulling the primary backup duty. Badie can be ignored in all fantasy leagues, especially with Denver on a bye in Week 12.

Denver Broncos RB Tyler Badie did not have any carries or receptions in Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders, although he was targeted once in the passing game. He finished playing 13 of the team's 61 offensive snaps, or 21 percent of the plays.
Huddle Up: While Badie's usage certainly doesn't suggest fantasy managers should rush right out and grab him, the team is weighing its options with J.K. Dobbins dealing with a foot injury. He could end up on the Reserve/Injured list, with RJ Harvey as the primary starter, and Badie then likely serving in the primary backup role. If Dobbins hits the IR, Badie would then be worth a look in deeper leagues. Badie has a career-high 10 receptions and 87 receiving yards this season, and he could be somebody PPR managers turn to in deeper leagues, too, if he is employed on passing-down situations. Monitor this situation closely.
