Chicago Bears WR Keenan Allen is entering the final year of his current contract, but general manager Ryan Poles said he believes the two sides can reach an extension at some point.
Huddle Up: Allen dealt with injuries this past season but is still one of the better receivers in the NFL when healthy. He will be working with a rookie quarterback in 2024 but can still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues if healthy.

Former Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen said that the New York Jets were one of only two teams he had expressed interest in being traded to after the Chargers had allowed him to seek out a potential trade partner earlier this offseason, with the Houston Texans being the other club. Allen wound up being traded from the Chargers to the Chicago Bears Thursday, March 14.

The Houston Texans had expressed interest in making a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers for WR Keenan Allen before he was dealt to the Chicago Bears earlier this week, according to multiple league sources. The Texans were offering a third-round selection in the 2025 NFL draft with a pick swap return.

The Chicago Bears are acquiring WR Keenan Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers in exchange for a fourth-round pick.
Huddle Up: Assuming the Bears select a quarterback with the No. 1 pick, Allen should be a reliable safety valve for the rookie.

The Los Angeles Chargers are trading WR Keenan Allen to the Chicago Bears for a fourth-round pick.
Huddle Up: The Chargers will now be without Mike Williams and Keenan Allen next season, which should open the door for Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston to take on significant roles.

The Los Angeles Chargers have had exploratory talks about trading WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, although Allen is less likely to be moved, per source on Sunday, March 10.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen expects to be back with the team in 2024. "I don't see myself going anywhere," he said on Thursday, Feb. 1.
Huddle Up: Allen has a massive $34.71 million cap hit in 2024, which is why speculation has run rampant about the Chargers possibly wanting to part ways. However, the 31-year-old showed he still has plenty left in the tank after tallying 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. As long as he doesn't get moved to a worse situation, Allen will be a WR1 option in 2024.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (heel) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and has been ruled out for Week 18.
Huddle Up: Josh Palmer, Alex Erickson and Quentin Johnston likely will be the main receivers with Allen not playing. Palmer probably has the most fantasy value among the three and could be a flex option in leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (heel) did not take part in practice once again on Thursday, Jan. 4.
Huddle Up: Allen, who was a WR1 when healthy, looks set to miss the final game of the season. If that's the case, he'll finish with 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games, showing he still has plenty left in the tank. If Allen sits, Joshua Palmer (concussion) is the next best option and would be on the flex radar, but he's also trending toward not playing. That would leave Jalen Guyton and Quentin Johnston as the top options in the Chargers' passing attack, but neither can be trusted in lineups.
