Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list Sunday, Aug. 30.
Huddle Up: Charbonnet is still recovering from a serious injury and will miss at least the first four games of the season. Jadarian Price should receive a majority of the work at running back and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues. Fantasy players can still draft Charbonnet and keep him on the bench until he is cleared to play.

Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) may be able to avoid the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list if the team believes he will be able to play in a game before Week 5, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Brady Henderson.
Huddle Up: Charbonnet has not participated during training camp and may miss at least the first four weeks of the season if he starts on the PUP list. He will likely have fantasy value during the second half of the season and can be stashed on the bench if fantasy players have the space. Jadarian Price should see a majority of the work early in the season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in leagues.

Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet has no set timetable for a return, but the Seahawks are "going to be smart with him", in the opinion of Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer on Tuesday, July 28.
Huddle Up: Charbonnet is a solid back, but a torn ACL in January means the team is putting out good news but will be cautious about him. Seattle drafted Jadarian Price in the first round and also brought in Emanuel Wilson from Green Bay to shore up their running back room after losing Kenneth Walker III in free agency. Charbonnet is a candidate for the PUP list at the end of camp, so there will be lots of news regarding his availability from now until Week 1.

Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet was placed on the PUP list on Wednesday, July 22, ahead of training camp.
Huddle Up: Charbonnet's missing time will lead to more significant practice reps early on with first-round pick RB Jadarian Price. Charbonnet is coming back from a torn ACL, so he will be brought along slowly, but it makes Price a potential RB2 or flex option in the meantime.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price is considered the favorite to serve as the starting tailback with RB Kenneth Walker III (Chiefs) moving on, and RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) still likely to miss the start of the season recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: While Price is expected to be atop the depth chart with Charbonnet on the shelf, it is expected to be a committee approach, with George Holani and Emanuel Wilson also factoring in. Price wasn't even a starter at Notre Dame, as that was Jeremiyah Love's job, so don't expect more than 10-15 total touches, giving the rookie a limited fantasy ceiling.

Seattle Seahawks RB George Holani received the bulk of the snaps with the first-team offense during the Seahawks' six full-squad practice sessions that were open to reporters, according to ESPN.com's Brady Henderson. Holani, Jadarian Price and Emanuel Wilson are expected to share playing time in the Seattle backfield while RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) recovers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Huddle Up: According to Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, Charbonnet is ahead of schedule in his rehab and has a chance to play in the season opener versus the New England Patriots Sept. 9. However, if he is forced to miss extended time, Seattle will use a committee of running backs to replace him. Price has a higher fantasy upside than Holani in standard formats but Holani is a slightly better option in PPR leagues because of his pass-catching ability.

Seattle Seahawks RB Jadarian Price will reportedly "share time" with RBs George Holani and Emanuel Wilson as Seattle waits for RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) to return from injury, according to a source on Monday, June 29. Price was also not drafted with the thought that he'd become a high-volume starter right away.
Huddle Up: Price was drafted in the first round by the Seahawks this past April, and it's looking like he's going to be in a committee to start out 2026. He'll always have the chance to force Seattle's hand, but he's a high-upside swing at running back for fantasy football. That said, drafting him in sixth round seems a bit much, so it's likely his price on draft day this summer may come down.

Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) could be ready by Week 1, according to head coach Mike Macdonald, who said "everything is possible." Macdonald acknowledged Charbonnet is ahead of schedule.
Huddle Up: Let's pump the brakes a bit. He got hurt deep into the playoffs, and at a demanding position like running back, it would make sense to slow-play him. His ADP right now is 163, which will likely skyrocket after this report. He's a low-end RB2 back, but the injury concerns and addition of rookie Jadarian Price push him to the RB3 range.

Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) was on the field doing some light knee exercises on Tuesday, June 9, four months after reconstructive knee surgery for a torn ACL.
Huddle Up: There is no timetable for his return, but the 25-year-old is expected back sometime during the 2026 season. Charbonnet ran for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2025 in the best of his three NFL seasons. His injury will likely force a heavier workload for Kenneth Walker, who had 1,309 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns in '25.

Seattle Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) has not been seen at the voluntary workouts this offseason.
Huddle Up: Charbonnet is recovering from knee surgery and is unlikely to be on the field until at least training camp. He should see a good amount of touches once he returns to the lineup and can be at least a No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues.
