Green Bay Packers QB Sean Clifford reverted back to the practice squad Monday, Sept. 23, after being on the active roster for the Week 3 game.

Green Bay Packers QB Sean Clifford and CB Robert Rochell were elevated from the practice squad for Week 3 on Saturday, Sept. 21. In addition, PK Brayden Narveson (foot) was added to the injury report but has no designation.

Green Bay Packers QB Sean Clifford reverted back to the practice squad Monday, Sept. 16, after being on the active roster for the Week 2 game.

Updating previous reports, Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) will not play in Week 2's game versus the Indianapolis Colts, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. QB Malik Willis is expected to receive the starting nod for Green Bay, with QB Sean Clifford serving as his backup.

The Green Bay Packers have not yet decided if QB Malik Willis or QB Sean Clifford will start Week 2's game versus the Indianapolis Colts. Willis was the quarterback for the final two plays of Week 1's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles following QB Jordan Love's (knee) medial collateral ligament sprain, which will sideline him for approximately three to six weeks.

The team also waived/injured CB LJ Davis (undisclosed) and LB Ralen Goforth (concussion) as well as placed TE Tyler Davis (undisclosed) and DT Jonathan Ford (calf) on the Reserve/Injured list. Ford has been designated to return later in the season.

Green Bay Packers QB Sean Clifford and QB Danny Etling will have the first chance to secure the backup quarterback job, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. "I think we'll probably see how these guys do before we think about bringing in a veteran right away," Gutekunst said.
