Free-agent RB Jerick McKinnon re-signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year deal on Monday, June 13, per source. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: With Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Ronald Jones both in the mix for the Chiefs in 2022, McKinnon is not a viable fantasy option for now.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon logged 12 carries and 13 catches for 169 total yards in seven regular season games, and he has 22 carries and 11 receptions for 220 total yards in two playoff contests.
Huddle Up: McKinnon has enjoyed a spike in usage during the postseason, and he has been particularly impactful in the passing game. If you are looking for a value play at running back in playoff fantasy contests, McKinnon should be on your short list.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon is expected to see plenty of touches against the Buffalo Bills during the Divisional Round playoff game.
Huddle Up: McKinnon is coming off a terrific Wild Card performance and should be involved in both the running and passing game. He can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) has been downgraded from questionable to out Saturday, Jan. 1, for Week 17. RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list.
Huddle Up: CEH wasn't trending in the right direction, so this is of no surprise. His work primarily will be divided between RBs Derrick Gore and Darrel Williams, with the latter serving as the main option in obvious passing situations. Both are decent fliers for a TD this week, and Williams is a stronger play in PPR. McKinnon shouldn't be utilized in anything outside of DFS showdown contests.

San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon, a pending unrestricted free agent, has said several times recently that he does not expect to be back with the 49ers next season.
Huddle Up: McKinnon totaled only 114 touches in 16 games last season as he returned from a two-year injury absence, and seems certain to be headed elsewhere as a third-down specialist after his 33 catches and 46 targets in 2020. Depending on where he lands, McKinnon could be of late-round interest in PPR drafts.

San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon rushed 18 times for just 33 yards, or 1.8 yards per attempt, in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints. He also added a 13-yard catch on three targets.
Huddle Up: McKinnon was getting a chance to be the workhorse, but he struggled in the role. He should only be used as a PPR option in deeper fantasy formats at this point. The 49ers are off in Week 11.

San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon carried 12 times for 52 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Nov. 5. McKinnon also caught three passes for 16 yards.
Huddle Up: McKinnon scored with four seconds remaining to add some much-needed value to an otherwise mediocre outing where he combined for 68 total yards. The good news is that he got 15 touches to JaMycal Hasty's six and looks to be the top back to own in San Francisco at least until one of their other backs can return from injury.
