Huddle Up: Ricky Seals-Jones probably will be the starting tight end for Washington over the next few weeks and can be a No. 2 fantasy tight end in most leagues.

Washington Football Teams TE Logan Thomas (hamstring) will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of his hamstring injury, according to a source. He is expected to be sidelined for four weeks.
Huddle Up: Ricky Seals-Jones likely will be the starting tight end for Washington while Thomas is sidelined. He has had some success in the past and will see a handful of targets each game. He probably should be considered a No. 2 fantasy tight end at this point.

Updating a previous report, Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas (hamstring) is considered week-to-week after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 4 versus the Atlanta Falcons.
Huddle Up: Ricky Seals-Jones came on in relief of Thomas after his early injury but only contributed two catches for 19 yards. It's possible he is slightly more involved in the offense with Thomas out, but the most likely outcome is Washington funneling more targets in the direction of Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel. Seals-Jones does not belong in fantasy lineups in Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 4 game and is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Thomas has been productive so far this season but could miss time depending on the severity of the injury. Ricky Seals-Jones could see a bigger role if Thomas misses time but would not be a fantasy option.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas caught four passes for 42 yards and one touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. He was targeted four times during the game.
Huddle Up: Thomas has caught 12 of his 14 targets this season and has two touchdowns in three games. He is a reliable target for Washington and can be a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues next week.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas had five receptions for 45 yards against the New York Giants on Thursday, Sept. 16.
Huddle Up: Thomas increased his receptions and yards over Week 1 but didn't find the end zone this week. The converted quarterback hasn't exactly picked up where he left off last December, but he's staying involved, and at a shaky fantasy position like tight end you should err on the side of patience with Thomas.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas registered three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown while absorbing all three of his targets in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Huddle Up: Thomas emerged as a useful fantasy option last season, and he is a solid TE1 in most fantasy formats. He lost QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to injury early in the game, so QB Taylor Heinicke finished up. Despite the potential QB change for Week 2 on Thursday against the New York Giants, Thomas shouldn't see his fantasy appeal change much.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas signed a three-year extension Tuesday, July 27. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
Huddle Up: He had a breakout 72-670-6 campaign last year, but we're still not sure if there's enough there to peg him as a low-end TE1.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas believes the additions of WR Curtis Samuel and WR Dyami Brown will open up more opportunities for him to make big plays. 'With the guys we have on the outside, maybe there's more space on the inside to make plays down the field,' Thomas said.
Huddle Up: Thomas emerged as a borderline top-five fantasy tight end down the stretch last season, and while Washington added some firepower on the outside, Thomas should still be one of the primary targets in the passing attack. Grab him as a TE1 in 2021.

Washington Football Team TE Logan Thomas ranked second among tight ends in both receptions (38) and targets (50) over the final five games, and his 342 receiving yards in that span ranked third at the position.
Huddle Up: Thomas emerged as a must-start TE1 down the stretch, and in 2021, he will have a golden opportunity to pick up where he left off as the No. 2 option in the passing attack behind Terry McLaurin.
