Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman (rib) suffered a rib injury during the Week 18 game and is considered questionable to return.

Huddle Up: Fantasy players should monitor the situation because the Ravens have a small chance to make the playoffs, so Freeman may be questionable for next week. Latavius Murray will receive most of the work if Freeman misses time but is only a flex option.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman (non-injury) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 6.

Huddle Up: Freeman should return to practice Friday, Jan. 7, and see his normal workload against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will continue to be part of a committee at running back but could be a possible flex option in standard leagues because of the favorable matchup.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman rushed 14 times for 74 yards and gained a yard on his only reception in a 20-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17.

Huddle Up: After two consecutive quiet outings, Freeman led the Baltimore backfield in the loss to the Rams. He should headline the rushing attack again in the season finale.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman rushed six times for 17 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for three yards in a 41-21 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Life without Lamar Jackson has been tough for Freeman, and he has a total of 12 carries for 39 yards in the last two games. Until Jackson returns, fantasy owners may want to leave Freeman on the bench.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman rushed six times for 22 yards in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers while adding a catch for two yards.

Huddle Up: Freeman was outpaced by Latavius Murray, who went for 6.9 yards per tote to just 3.7 for Freeman. Freeman is only worth using as a RB4 heading into Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman rushed 13 times for 64 yards in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns while posting five grabs for eight yards on five targets.

Huddle Up: Freeman's line was OK. He didn't crush fantasy managers, especially in PPR leagues, but the numbers weren't eye-popping, either. He'll look for better results in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers. Treat him as a RB3 or flex fantasy option in most leagues.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman ran for 52 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and caught five of his eight targets for 45 yards in Week 13 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Freeman's most significant contribution in this game may have been as a changeup to the Steelers sacking Lamar Jackson what seemed like every third or fourth drop-back. The 29-year-old's total yardage output was his best mark as a Raven and further cemented his place as the team's primary back, although it is not as if he's done much as a rusher over the last four games (3.4 yards per carry on 56 attempts). Because he has shown the ability to find the end zone on a semi-regular basis, Freeman deserves low-end RB2 consideration in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman has logged at least 10 rushing attempts in four straight games, and in Week 13, he faces a Pittsburgh Steelers' defense allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game and a league-high 4.8 yards per rush.

Huddle Up: Freeman hasn't shown much explosiveness since joining the Baltimore backfield, but a steady workload against a struggling defense should make him a solid flex option.

Baltimore Ravens RB Devonta Freeman ran for 52 yards on 16 carries and caught his only target for eight yards in Week 12 versus the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: The good news is that Freeman has pulled away from Latavius Murray as the team's lead back. The bad news is he hasn't averaged more than 3.5 yards per carry in any of his last three games. Until Baltimore lets Ty'Son Williams out of the doghouse, managers will usually have to hope the lead back for the Ravens falls into the end zone during a given week if they want him to be somewhat usable in fantasy. As such, Freeman figures to be an uninspiring flex option in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
